Located in the heart of Quincy Center, Sapori is a cozy neighborhood restaurant run by a husband and wife team along with a group of friendly supporting staff. The moment you walk in, you are already mesmerized by how beautiful the layout is, the ambience is perfect with a "welcome home" atmosphere from the welcoming staff members. Restaurant is new, clean and overall, just comfortable. Menu is simple yet extensive enough where you will find something for everyone. Great appetizer starters and salads to choose from and mouth watering pasta selections made with homemade pasta like the Bolognese and Pappardelle. Margherita flatbread pizza and specialty burgers is also a crowd favorite but let me warn you now, you better save room for their desserts. The trio cannoli is not to be missed and you be a fool if you don't order their Tiramisu, which is Mama's recipe. šŸ˜…. Instantly fell in love at first bite. Sapori is a great, cozy place for friend's gathering, date night or just go grab a drink and some food at the bar with a few buddies to catch a game on TV. They have a nice bar set up with 8-10 stools and giant TV screens. This place have everything you want and need to enjoy a casual meal or a good first impression with a special someone. They can do it all. Owner's name is Cleber and he is Clever. Cleber the Clever because that's exactly how he is. Go see him, you will not be disappointed.

Came to Sapori for dinner for the first time since they switched over from Cafe Gelato. We had an amazing experience from start to finish. The place was filled but the bar completely vacant so we grabbed two seats there. The service is impeccable, the owners as well as all the staff are so personable and kind. We ordered an espresso martini, two glasses of Merlot and a lemon boozy gelato. For food my partner had the pepperoni pizza (still by far the best pizza in Quincy and beyond) and I got the bolognese for the first time. The owner let us know they make the pasta from scratch in house and it did not disappoint. Delicious all around. The prices are average and the quality exceeded our expectations. Would return for the hospitality alone but the food is a huge incentive as well. Not even a slight complaint for anything we had, drinks included. We had plans to go to a steak house for my partners birthday next week but decided to come back here instead which shows how highly we think of this restaurant. Highly recommend and will continue to return.

I came to Sapori after work and let me tell you my experience was a 10 out of 10 !!!!!! From the moment we walked in we were greeted kindly and seated quickly ! We were offered our preferred seating . The drinks were so delicious! My coworker and I had the mango and passionfruit caipirinha. We also had two tequila shots which were reasonably priced . The appetizers were wonderful from the meatballs , Caesar salad and calamari! We also ordered a few entrees, I had the seafood ravioli which was filled with a good portion of lobster and the tomato sauce was so fresh and delicious. The shrimp scampi pizza was perfectly cooked and flavorful. They also were very accommodating to certain substitutions and recommended great suggestions. Finally for dessert we had the gelato trio, churro lava cake and espresso martini and we were in heaven !! Will certainly be back again . Thank you for the amazing service and food !

I have never been too upset to even take a bite of a meal I ordered, but that is exactly what happened when dining here for lunch. We were the only people in the restaurant when we entered, and picked a table. My mom has an ear issue, and we will often look for tables that aren’t under speakers because it’s hard to hear. We tried here, but there wasn’t any table less loud than others, so when we sat down, we asked if it was possible for the volume of the music to be turned down. It should be noted that it was extremely loud for even me without any ear issues, and we couldn’t hear each other sitting next to each other. The server acted as if it was a crazy requests but said that he would try. It had been a few minutes and the volume hadn’t changed, and it was still very loud, so my mom went up to him at the bar to see if he could turn it down a little more because it was still really loud, and he snapped at her saying that they were trying - something we could not have known. He then said that no one else ever complains. Ok buddy. Kind response. When our food came out, the pasta dish came out along with a basket with a piece of bread, napkins, and a knife, but no fork. We looked around to see if we could find one, and when my mom went up to the bar to ask for one, the same man snapped at her and said ā€œma’am of course we are bringing you a fork.ā€œ and we said ok thanks. There’s not one in the basket, so it seemed like it was just a mistake, so of course we would mention it. Can’t eat pasta without a fork. He kept saying ā€œof course we are bringing you a forkā€ as if it was the most absurd thing in the world that we are asking for one. He then asked the girl who brought us our food about a fork, and she said she thought she put one in the basket, and so he asked us ā€œis there not one in the basket?ā€ To which we replied - no - that’s why we asked for one. And he just went off about how we asked them to turn the music down and shouldn’t be mad at them. Keep in mind - all we did was ask if it was possible for the music to be turned down. He could have said no, and we would have just simply gone somewhere else. Instead, we sat there feeling abused by the staff. I didnt even touch my meal because I was too disgusted by the attitude of the staff. For what it’s worth, my mom said her food was good at least. Kindness is free and choosing...

I have been here a few times when it was caffe gelato and each time i kept hoping for a better experience but i cant seem to be satisfied with this place even with a new name and new menu. First and foremost, If you plan to come here with children, don’t. Look elsewhere because they do not have any highchairs. I’ve NEVER come across a restaurant without any high chairs. I have a toddler and it is very hard for me to enjoy my food while having to hold him still in place (which he wont do) and im not sure what mother or father wants to hold their child in their arms while eating. Food quality does NOT match the prices, food is clearly frozen and heated up, especially the seafood which gave me a horrible stomach ache so definitely avoid that. Definitely NOT authentic italian food, i wouldnt call it that at all. Service is bare minimum. Its basically self service, they take your order and thats it, they wont ask if you need a refill, they dont come check on how youre doing, they dont ask if you need anything, they dont even come grab the payment from you i had to get up and give someone my card after waiting for about 15 minutes after i was done eating, while multiple servers were just standing around looking at their phones and at the cielings. I had to ask multiple times for things like silverware, water, beverages, just simple things that any other restaurant usually would do. They have good sandwiches for lunch tho lol. I thought with a new look and menu the service would change too but i guess not. I hope this review can save other people...

I wanted to add to my sister’s review below because our experience left me in complete disbelief. This establishment seriously lacks professionalism. If it weren’t for the quality of their food, they wouldn’t survive on customer service alone!!!

We were served a burnt pizza something that was obvious not just by taste, but by the strong smell of something burning in the restaurant right before it arrived. I’ve ordered this same pizza for takeout several times, and it’s never tasted this charred.

When I brought it to the attention of who I believe was the owner or manager, his response was incredibly dismissive. He insisted it didn’t taste burnt to him, as if everyone experiences flavor the same way. Then he proceeded to raise his voice across the restaurant, embarrassing us in front of other diners. Meanwhile, other staff members were rolling their eyes and sucking their teeth, adding to the uncomfortable atmosphere.

For context, only two slices were eaten—we were picking at the top of the pizza, trying to salvage what we could. Despite this whole experience, we still ordered additional dishes and even left a tip, so it was always about the principle and never about the $11 pizza!!!!!

Instead of being so greedy and short-sighted as business owners, you should think about the long-term value of loyal, returning customers. With that being said I realized they only respond back (negatively) to the negative reviews...once again proving my point of UNPROFESSIONALISM but don't bother responding to this one because I really do not give a you...
