Upon setting foot in Fuji at WOC, my fiancé and I were instantaneously embraced by the restaurant’s splendid atmosphere. The layout, punctuated by high-quality furniture, ensured patrons had ample space, striking a balance between intimacy and openness. The right side of the entrance offers limited seating, while the left unfolds into a more expansive seating area. The cherry on top? The transparent kitchen space where you can witness the meticulous craftsmanship of chefs, turning raw ingredients into artful culinary masterpieces.
Our dining odyssey began with the Vegetable Gyoza. The outer layer had a delicate crispiness, akin to the first crunch of an autumn leaf, encasing a tender, flavorful filling that boasted hints of garlic, ginger, and fresh greens. The balance was impeccable, neither overwhelming the palate nor being too subtle.
The Secret to Success roll was our next port of call. The spicy tuna had a gentle kick, tempered beautifully by the sweet undertones of ripe mango. Atop this base, seared salmon lay delicately, its slightly charred exterior revealing a buttery interior, brimming with rich, oceanic flavors. Complementary notes of spicy jalapeño and fresh scallions danced on the palate, while the unagi sauce’s sweet, smoky profile, coupled with the nutty hints from the crunchy sesame soy, created a harmony of flavors that was nothing short of symphonic.
The C-Suite roll, meanwhile, had a foundation of creamy avocado, fresh salmon, and crisp cucumber. The topping of tuna added a different texture and depth of flavor, while the jalapeño brought in a spicy undertone. The bonito flakes, dancing ethereally atop, lent a smoky note. The ponzu yuzu sauce and sriracha combined to introduce a zesty, spicy kick which cut through the richness, creating a multi-layered taste experience.
Although the deep-fried roll wasn’t my personal favorite, I admired its golden, crispy exterior which gave way to a creamy, cheese-filled heart, offering a dichotomy of textures that many would find irresistible.
Service, while prompt, allowed just enough time to truly appreciate the culinary artistry, as each roll was crafted from scratch. The anticipation, fueled by watching chefs at work, only amplified the final tasting experience.
Clean restrooms and the restaurant’s versatility for various occasions made our visit truly holistic. Fuji at WOC, with its commitment to culinary excellence and impeccable service, has undoubtedly set a benchmark in Massachusetts dining. Awaiting my next...

I had the pleasure of savoring their Salt and Pepper Shrimp—a dish that embodies perfection. Each shrimp was delicately crispy, with just the right balance of savory seasoning and subtle heat, making every bite irresistibly addictive. The seasoning was masterfully paired with the succulent juiciness of the shrimp, creating a harmony that was nothing short of divine.
Complementing this dish were some of the finest cocktails I’ve ever encountered, thanks to the incredible skill of Vicky T., the bartender whose artistry behind the bar elevated the entire experience. Her Strawberry Lemon Drop was a delightful fusion of sweet and tart, perfectly blended for a refreshing yet bold sip. The Lychee Martini was a taste of elegance, with the gentle floral notes of lychee harmonizing beautifully with the smooth, crisp finish of the drink.
For those seeking a more unconventional yet refreshing option, the Cucumber Martini was a light, revitalizing choice, subtly infused with the essence of fresh cucumber. The Spicy Passion Fruit Margarita was a showstopper with its exotic punch and a hint of fiery heat that danced on the palate—an ideal pick for anyone wanting a tropical escape in a glass.
Last but not least, Vicky T.’s masterpiece, the Vicky T., brought its own signature flair—a drink that seamlessly merged complexity and smoothness, showcasing her creative prowess and dedication to crafting cocktails that not only delight but leave a lasting impression.

Read moreIf you are looking for good Asian food, coming from an Asian person, this is an overpriced non-authentic place to go. When I arrived I was waiting in line to put my name in, the host asked me how many seats I was looking for and I said two and he proceeded to not acknowledge me, and called the next two people who had a reservation and had then brought to a table then he called the next two people who also had a reservation behind me. Ok, I get it they had reservations that’s all good and dandy, I was standing there at the desk still and then he called the next people in line, he didn’t tell me that there was a wait or that I should sit down till my table was ready I was just still standing there like I was in invisible, finally my boyfriend came up to me and asked me if we were all set and I said,”No, they are just ignoring me.” So the host said “No, I’m not ignoring you” then I said well you didn’t acknowledge me, so I felt like I was being ignored and he was giving me an attitude . Not appreciated. We were finally seated and the waitress was very nice but the food...... we ordered an app, maki and then clay pots, well clay pots are supposed to come out sizzling so that the rice becomes crispy on the bottom, the pots were warm and the rice wasn’t crispy. There was rice, some tobiko and meat and that’s it in the pot, no veggies or anything else, it was an utter disappointment. It was all overpriced the drink I got was good but that was the only thing that slightly enjoyed. Not going back there again, two stars...
