Never in my life have I had such a terrible customer service experience than I did this evening at the Walgreens on Quincy Ave. The employees were exceptionally rude. I came in to buy a face mask since I misplaced the one I originally had. I pulled my shirt up over my nose for the time being until I was able to purchase a new face mask. As soon as I entered the store, I had three employees scream at me that I needed to be wearing a face mask. I was fully aware of that fact as I know it is currently a requirement in Massachusetts. That was the whole reason I was there was to be able to purchase a new face mask. I proceeded to tell them that and asked if they were still selling masks and would be able to sell me one, so a male employee told me he would ring me up for it. He stated it would be $15.99 for the masks (which with $1 in sales tax came to $16.99). $16.99 for a pack of face masks, something that is currently required in Massachusetts, is absurd to me. When I looked online at face masks that they sell at Walgreens, I found the same exact ones that I was given priced at $5.49 which is a lot more reasonable. I'm fully convinced that this male employee intentionally charged me $16.99 for these face masks in spite of the fact that I entered the store without one. Regardless of whether that is true or not, this is price gouging, which Maura Healy, the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, has stated is unacceptable and illegal. Walgreens should be ashamed of themselves; especially the employees at the Quincy...
ย ย ย Read moreWorse pharmacy I have ever dealt with . I try picking up a dying person's medicine- they told him it would be filled 1 hour I came 3 hours later, I literally am helping out a dying man. These pharmacist seem to think it is funny to rag the person coming to help out a sick person- mind you I have my own family job and life to deal with - it seems to me these pharmacist think it is funny to make people in a rush wait. I seriously do not recommend this pharmacy I have a small business- I put sick elderly and families with small children first. I am ashamed for all the people this place messes with. Please do not bring your business here - they are horrible. At quincy Ave Walgreens other Walgreens are great in my opinion What is funny is I was helping out a very sick person get suppositories, not narcotics or other relief drugs. This Man can not use the bathroom - I take time out of my busy day and am obviously rushed as I have my own stuff family business a sick mother to help - these educated professionals literally left me sitting there for an hour thinking i did not see thier little grins I worry not for me but people like me without the abilty to deal with this type of B.s., that run errands for elderly or sick people and will no longer run these errands for sick/elderly because of the hastle these immature workers who have to mess with whomever they choose to just to pass the time. I hope this review helps management get a...
ย ย ย Read moreI agree with the 1-star reviews of other customers here.
Staff doesn't care for their customers. They make you feel like it is a burden doing business with them. The "Assistant Manager Nicole" is rude and unprofessional. She even misrepresented herself as the Store Manager. She has even the nerve to violate procedures and check-out online orders of customers even if they are not present nor hitting the "I'm here" button in the App. She has the temerity to ask customers if they pressed all the buttons in the App and follow the procedure. It would be interesting if she would also follow the correct procedure.
As an assistant manager, maybe she could address first the lack of staff presence in the Photo Section, the attention to the alerts made in their system that a customer is already waiting for the item to be picked-up, and come up with ways on how customers can get hold of associates without waiting for so long. In short, how about doing her JOB for starters before telling customers what to do that has been done already?
Nicole totally LACKS Customer Service Skills. It is surprising how Walgreens has put her in an Assistant Manager's Position when she lacks all skills in leadership, supervision, customer orientation and management.
It has been almost a week since I had reported the issue to the CSR and still no call back from the Area...
