I ordered a Honey Lavender Matcha Latte, but they incorrectly gave me a Honey Lavender Macchiato. I was skeptical when I saw the color, but I didn’t think it could be anything else because I didn’t know there was another Honey Lavender drink on the menu, and I didn’t have time to wait for a remake if it were wrong anyway. Despite that, the drink tasted ok, coming from someone who doesn’t drink coffee. The lavender was fragrant, and the honey wasn’t too sweet. It was $5.70 for a 16oz (TLJ is excluded from the 20% grand opening promotion, unfortunately).
I also picked up a Milk Cream Red Bean Bread ($3.85). The bread was very soft, and the cream was light, but, overall, it wasn’t the dessert for me. I got sick of it after a few bites because of the texture, but the taste was ok.
