Quitman City Hall — Local services in Quitman

Update: February 25th 2025 157 p.m. Downgraded from 3 stars, to two. Logic dictates. I've been contemplating about this for some time. It is unfortunate that the authority, city manager is not qualified to make decisions based in certain particular things he is attempting to accomplish. He has no idea you ramifications of what he's about to cause and what he is already causing. I do not blame him directly because not all people have not all knowledge. However humility will call Good counsel on these matters. Pride before destruction and there has been some destruction. Illogical excuses. Irrational ideas, at least they're still remains some reasonability. I hope this also indicates responsibility.

Any authority that makes a decision on a subject that they have little to no experience with has made the wrong decision. That is simple fact in most cases. This is no exception.

Mr Burns if you have no experience in a thing it's okay because not all people can know all things in a lifetime. Lord knows I've tried and I've come damn near close. However the human mind cannot store that much data without consequence to the neurological function which also affects the neurovascular. It would have behooved you before making a decision to call counsel with people who are experts in that field even if you had to call into another state, or another country. That is my custom. That is what I do when I don't know something. I do not make assumptions. Try not to be too hard on yourself either because I know sometimes you can be. I've tried talking to you in person, I've tried talking to you on the phone. In the end I know I was getting nowhere. So here are the facts as aforementioned. Remember your council, remember your citizens. There are people out here who are experts in their field and had their work confirmed by the leading experts.

Remember Mr Burns we all live in this community and, I suspect, the people with knowledge are more than willing to lend a hand to make this place the safest and best place for them to live according to what is reasonable, what is rational, what is logical.

Three stars is a good rating from me. That means it's better than average. More on this later. Right now I pray for this county: I pray that each of the leadership personnel will always put God first, and never do anything that takes the attention off of God directly or indirectly and that all their actions and words would be to lead people to put their focus on God directly and indirectly in every activity or decision that they make. Anything less is failure. I pray for the people of this county that you support good leaders that show this kind of dedication, without excuse and without fault that in all occasion you will encourage your leadership to continue this kind of good work. I pray as citizens of this county that not a single one of us takes each other for granted whether it be a friend or a stranger. That each of us will learn how to be more honest today than we were yesterday, without excuse without fault without fear. To live honestly and humbly in the everlasting presence of God and each other. Amen

Our City Hall had been updated and looks great, they fixed the tower clock, it works. They decorated for Memorial Day. Flags on three sides from individuals, shops, restaurants all dedicated to the soldiers who have their all. I took so many pictures didn't know if I should put them all in. The standing soldier has granite stones 3-4 ft tall with names of the fallen WW1, WW11, Vietnam, and black soldiers. Where the flags of all the services are they have three rows of bricks with names, years, rank, what service they were in. I have been there several times, but first time I walked around and read and really took notice of what was there. I am very proud of our City and it's people for honoring their soldiers who fought and died to protect our country and...

The City of Quitman GA is very unprofessional and lack any morals whatsoever... I've lived here off and on for over 7 yrs and every time I decide to live within the city limits I absolutely regret doing it... The city hall and the ones over the Light Bills and etc are completely lost as to what they should be doing... I have never seen a city in such...
