Today, I stopped in for a hot latte and decided to sit down. I have been here in the past but never sat down. This place is amazing! The ambience is great for relaxing, reading, reflecting, and just taking a breather. I believe it’s one of Quitman’s best kept secrets. The latte was great and the environment was calming. They also have food items on their menu that I can’t wait to try. The decor is different from anything I’ve seen in South Georgia with beautiful pictures, leather seating, and tables with chairs. It has a touch of old, new, and contemporary. It’s a classy place. The owners, Cindy and Mike, are very kind. I’m thankful that they opened this coffee shop here in Quitman. Camellia Coffee & Creamery is amazing. The coffee is rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed every time. Their specialty drinks are creative and actually taste as good as they look. I highly recommend their lattes or their seasonal specials if you're feeling adventurous. The ice cream is just as impressive, super creamy with great flavors, and you can tell it’s made with quality ingredients. It’s the perfect combo spot whether you want a cozy morning coffee or a sweet afternoon treat. Their menu also has a variety of incredible food options as well. In my opinion, the best coffee (most genuine) at least within a 50-mile radius of Valdosta (Hint: No longer a need to go all the way to Thomasville for genuine coffee/espresso). I was excited to see their La Marzocco machine --- usually a very good sign! An extremely inviting and comfortable venue... and the varied music selection (not too loud, as well) in the background was relaxing and a nice plus.
