Bruce's Foodland Rainsville — Local services in Rainsville

I dont know about anyone else but I try my best to not to go to Foodland all that much. The people there are friendly and go out of their way to help you, but what makes me so disappointed is the prices! The meat is outrageous and the same can food I would see at Walmart is at Foodland but Foodland is about 1.00 more than Walmart! I know that Foodland is closer to me, but I would rather go to a store that is out of my way than and pay their prices than to go to Bruce's Foodland and pay way more than what the other store and their prices...

This is a convenient local grocery store for those of us living around the area. They do not have the selection, bakery, produce, meat/dairy selection, etc, that Walmart or Publix does. The store is clean, has larger then normal aisles, and has friendly staff. However, there are baggers at each checkout and no self-checkout. ;) The person who came up with the parking lot design and painted the parking space lines and arrows needs to go back to school. It is always clean and mostly well stocked even with the pandemic (other than lysol wipes but those are a nightmare to fond anywhere right now.) The staff is ALWAYS so pleasant and helpful. They usually always have wonderful produce and great deals! Download their app and get something free every week with a 10.00 purchase. Also once you spend 400.00 they give you 5.00 off your next purchase. All you need is the app and they will scan your card off your smartphone. I use their app religiously...
