The culture that Publix has built is what keeps me going back every week. Whenever you see an employee of the store, stocking, walking down an aisle, front facing displays; they stop turn to you ask how you are, and if you are finding everything alright. EVERY 'Green Shirt' (that's my name for Publix Employees!), has the ability to look up an item and see if it is in stock. One Green Shirt went into the stockroom 4 or 5 different times for me on a recent shopping excursion! "It says we have 75 of them, ma'am; I'm just not having any luck finding any of them." After 15 minutes of searching. If you know your prices and shop their sales, it is absolutely doable in a budget. Also, their is not 'One' Customer Service Manager. There are different people assigned to different places in the front. One time they may be a cashier, a bagger, and then they are behind the CS Desk. Nothing is ever a problem with Publix, my favorite cashier (shhh, don't tell anyone I have favorites!), was on self check-out, and I don't do self check-out. She said; come on, I'll do it for you! And she did!...
