I have now taken two Yin Yoga classes with Roxanne, at Bright Tree Yoga, in Raleigh. I exercise daily, but never do any stretching. I was worried about doing a yoga class, as result of my lack of flexibility. Roxane made sure that I knew this was a nonjudgement class. The class was about doing to your own ability and not worrying about others. It is amazing how I feel after only two sessions. The breathing techniques are also unbelievably valuable. I never thought I would be a person hooked on yoga. I look forward to every class and can feel the benefits and so do my hips
The focus on the various postures is about quality and not quantity. The posture is held longer than other types of yoga and gives you a nice long stretch that your body will appreciate.
