Wow! Where do I start?!? I came in for a self-care session with no makeup and non-styled hair and walked out a moviestar! Moxie Salon is located in the Wade Avenue plaza right next to Whole Foods and don't let the construction in the parking lot deter you. I was immediately greeted and welcomed by the salon owner Mandi. I was paired up with Catie and she washed my hair with Weleda products and then did the blowout and curls. While my curls were setting, Chastity turned me around and did my makeup. When she spun me around to see the final product...vavoom! My hair was full of bounce and shine and my makeup was subtle and elegant and classy! We had a fun photo shoot and did some before and afters. I would recommend this salon and experience for a girls night out, for bachelorette events, prom hair and makeup or any time just to have a quick makeover and walk out feeling like a million bucks. When I walked out in the rain, I didn't care. I was glowing and happy! A huge thank you to Mandi and the Moxie stylists and for this transformation. They offer a monthly membership option or pay per visit. Once a month, they host a Beauty and the Beats even with local DJ Baptiste and the special is $99. I had an amazing experience at Moxie Salon and Beauty Bar. I walked in and was immediately greeted with smiles from the owner Mandi and loved the vibe with all the staff as they were laughing and smiling, and having a wonderful time. I was escorted to a chair and greeted by Frankie, who took care of my hair needs. He shampooed my hair and massaged my scalp, which felt amazing. He then conditioned my hair and added a deep conditioning to help soften my dry hair. Then gave me a blowout and my hair looked gorgeous. It was soft and styled beautifully, and I added a couple pieces of fairy hair. I can’t recommend the salon enough as I was treated so well and welcomed. Everyone in the salon is kind and friendly.
