I had my daughter’s Quinceañera September 2nd, 2023. Very disappointed with the service. Poor communication, the venue outlet went out two times, and left me and my guest in the dark for 15 minutes another thing as expensive as this place was, I figure you’d have access to the venue early morning to set up & decorate. For your event they only give you 2 hours to decorate and we paid $400 for an extra hour so we can have the time to decorate the place. I didn’t get my deposit back because we got there at 1:30pm and the venue was open already. They also didn’t give us an after hour number for us to contact in case of any questions or concern we had for our event and just got an email and voice message saying they were all out for Labor Day weekend and they will back until September 5th ! The carpet looked dirty and had a big stain on it. We were suppose to leave the venue by 12, but left before the time, no damage was made, we left clean and still couldn’t get our deposit. The lady on-site did not get to the venue until 2:53pm and was very disrespectful. On the day of our event we contacted the manager, but never got a reply back, and since the side door was unlock, we thought we could enter. Also the lady on-site even had a alcoholic beverage during my event. Read moreRecently had my ceremony and reception at this location. If you are looking to have your wedding and reception here its a safe bet but you must be flexible. This venue allows you choice and options The person we toured with, vs the person that we handled paperwork with, vs the person who was actually at the event are 3 different employees. The person you tour with is kind, knowledgable and pretty flexible. The person that you handle all of you paperwork with is Carla. She isn't the easiest to reach, nor is she flexible, and chances are high that things will change on a whim just because Carla says so again please be patient and flexible. The person that will be present while your event is happening is laidback. The only thing about this is that Carla, will send you an email way after the typical person (sent within the same week of my wedding) has done their final headcount and highly suggest you feed the person that is clearly working the event as just eyes and ears for The Royal Banquet. We toured the venue three times for our event; once to book, once with our planner for layout, and once with our DJ. Our planner and The Royal worked well together and once we reviewed the contract and details, it was an easy transaction. Payment processing and email communication was easy. Our vendors worked well with the venue as well. The space itself is bigger than it looks. There is a mirror on the wall where the dance floor is located, which seems odd. However, it did wonders for videos and pictures, especially pictures. it was a great unexpected detail. The area for the bar is ideal as well. The ice machine space is a bit odd, but we were able to work with it. Lastly, the a/c temp was our only issue, since it was a bit humid the day of the party, we requested to lower the temp twice.
