From the moment I stepped into Albaraka Market and Grill, I was transported to the Mediterranean with its rich aromas and vibrant atmosphere. This gem of a restaurant, nestled in our town, is a true testament to authentic Mediterranean cuisine.
The star of the menu is undoubtedly the chicken and meat shawarma. Cooked to perfection, the shawarma is a harmonious blend of spices and flavors, wrapped in a soft, warm pita. The chicken is tender and juicy, while the meat is succulent and rich, each bite leaving you wanting more.
But the culinary delights don't stop there. The deboned whole chicken off the grill is a masterpiece. Its crispy skin and moist, flavorful meat showcase the grill's magic. It's a dish that resonates with simplicity and excellence, embodying the essence of Mediterranean cooking.
The sides and appetizers are equally impressive. The sweet coleslaw is a refreshing departure from the ordinary, offering a delightful contrast with its subtle sweetness and crunchy texture. And the fatayer pies are a revelation - the dough is light and flaky, forming the perfect base for a variety of toppings, from zesty spinach to rich cheese and hearty meat.
Albaraka Market and Grill also boasts a very nice, clean grocery and meat department. It's a treasure trove for food enthusiasts looking to explore Mediterranean ingredients and spices, adding an authentic touch to their home cooking.
The ambiance of the restaurant adds to the overall experience. It's clean, welcoming, and authentically decorated, making you feel as if you're dining in a Mediterranean home.
In conclusion, Albaraka Market and Grill is not just a restaurant; it's a culinary experience that takes you on a delightful journey through the flavors of the Mediterranean. Whether you're a fan of shawarma, a lover of grilled delicacies, or simply in search of a new culinary adventure, this is a place that should be on your radar. Highly...

Opening hours are until 10pm. But I came and it was not yet 10pm, even though I had called them beforehand. & I arrived at 9:53 and the clerk wouldn't let me buy my items, even though they were two quick items from the fridge. And treated him badly. He asked me to come out because he wanted to mop the floor. I internalized my anger at the way he treated him and asked him to give me what I needed. He couldn't stand for 5 or 10 seconds. But he vehemently refused and motioned for me to go out the door as if I had come to beg him. The worst treatment I have ever seen in the seven states I have lived in. It was April 1st at 9:55pm. For your information, two customers came after me and entered the store, and their requests were fulfilled. All this, and I was shocked by the abuse I received while sitting outside in my car. Why did he do that, especially in this blessed month? A bad person is someone who does not respect people, himself, or his workplace. The interesting thing is that the client came at 10:10 p.m. After the store closed, she knocked on the glass and called out to them. He opened it and asked him what he wanted. He told the same person who treated me badly that he wanted to buy meat. That is, what he needs requires cleaning the shop again and cleaning the meat shop equipment. However, he was brought after working hours and his request was approved. It is the height of racial discrimination between a Muslim and another Muslim, including a Muslim who works in a store. Note that what I needed was something for my little boy, who had not yet understood that the store was closed and would have to wait until tomorrow. Now another customer came at 10:15 and his request was also met. All of this was before my eyes while I was in...
Read moreI absolutely love anticipating making a trip to their store and restaurant! The owners greet me like I was family and Mrs. Neda always hugs me and asks how I am doing. Many times if I come to buy a little thing, and have my Discover card instead of Visa, or if it is a tiny food item they insist it is on the house. The first time my family and I came we were one of the first customers to their new location the whole purchase was not charged. They are so kindhearted and generous. Sometimes when a fresh batch of Arabic food comes out of the kitchen, they share a few with customers for free. They work from early in the morning at 8 am til 10 at night, and are hard workers putting their all into this business. I have never felt so welcomed, 'at home' and happy with a store such as this one! I read a comment on here accusing them of being thieves or something, that is the grossest, untrue claim if I ever heard one. Once I ordered take out catering and it was a bit expensive for me so the owner's wife called her husband over to see if they can help and give me a discount, which they did. They are God-fearing, clean, full of morals, and wonderfully sweet people. It is a family-owned business, putting their heart and energy in this. Totally recommend this place, especially on Fridays for a fun outing at their restaurant! :) Love them! P.S. their famous chicken shawarma has no...
