I've been coming here since 2019, when it was Pilas Pantry. It's now under new ownership and called SPRINKLES & SPICE!

I love the added color and the welcoming atmosphere. The new owner is incredibly kind and helpful. Running a business is definitely challenging, as anyone who’s done it knows. My respects!

The store looks more organized now. While some items are discontinued, that’s beyond any owner’s control. Even my old LA supply stores are completely out of stock! I’ve never had issues with the staff, whether they’re new or former employees. They’ve always been kind and helpful. I don’t expect them to teach me how to bake for my DIY projects; I do my research on TikTok or YouTube and then come here for supplies.

Brenda is at the store every day, working diligently. Her dedication and passion for the store are evident.

I love the new edible prints and sugar decor. The holiday items are adorable, and my 5-year-old enjoys the classes. Even though I have experience with sweet treat-making, starting as a beginner in classes has been great for understanding the basics. You have to try new things with an open mind, and be greatful. People dont see what a blessing it is to have someone local to teach you.

Also, they occasionally sell cookies which are so beautiful and delicious 😋

Overall, I have nothing negative to say. This baking supply store is conveniently located, I enjoy coming here for my supplies, and my daughter absolutely enjoys coming with me as they always treat her with the upmost kindness.

This place is a JOKE! Brenda (CEO) forces you to take a beginner RI class before you can move into the “advance” class. I learned absolutely NOTHING in the class. When you ask what the class is about, her staff says, “I don’t know.” When I explained the lack of compassion for small business bakers time and money PLUS the unacceptable BURNT cookies they give you to work on -the owner (Brenda) became defensive and was more upset that I didn’t pull the instructor aside to explain my discontent (the instructor was a sweetheart following orders.) As a business owner, presentation is key! Be GRATEFUL and VALUE your customers because they are the reason you are in business!! I will NEVER take a class here nor recommend that anyone else does because you will not grow and advance at your pace -she’s a sloppy baker and her staff must be inderpaid because they aren’t helpful.
