Sunrize Center — Local services in Rancho Cucamonga

I like the sunrise shopping center a lot, I have been going there for more than 30 years, hasn't changed much in that time a few shops have come and go some of the expanded like the thrift store it's a lot larger now and they consistently have specials going on anytime I'm in the sunrise center and make it a point to go to the thrift store usually on the weekend I stopped in Brandon's first a great place for breakfast one of the best in fact he has another restaurant down on foothill boulevard in upland. I usually make it a point to go into the bakery that's just across the parking lot from brandon's, to the West they always have a great selection of breads and pastries, delicious. Finally a quick stop in the car wash ,all the ingredients for a great Sunday morning. If you've never been to the sunrise center it's worth a stop too many specialty shops to list here like one of those Island type key shops where they change watch batteries and make keys you don't see those anymore that one has been there forever and I've used it numerous numerous times plenty of parking including handicap so go check it out at me...

Here is a question: Did you know that there is a recycling center behind Smart and Final? As we all know we pay the CA redemption value on cans and bottles so it is always good to know where we can turn them in. Be advised that they pay by weight so more than likely you won’t get your full deposit back. Parking at noon was full and a mess. No curtesy by other drivers. Stopped in to Brandon's for a late breakfast after shopping. They had five star reviews so we gave it a go. The food is good and the waiter was fair. He ignored a repeated request, but finally took a second to fulfill it. I should say the food is better than average, but not as great as many of the reviews I read. We enjoyed the meal, but I wouldn't drive out of my way to eat there again.
