I can no longer stand going wo WalMart. I HATE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT! They have increased the price of their Equate brand to almost the same or more than the name brand! My last visit was the worst, I found a young boy and girl, 10 and 11, sitting at the entrances with pieces of cardboard with the writing "Do you have any money. We're hungry." What I could not believe is watching several employees, including a manager, and customers walk right past them!!! I immediately went up to the little girl and asked where her Mom was? She said she was at the library with her 5 yr old brother. I immediately stopped the police officer and made her aware, but I knew she had to have seen them! I asked her if I could buy them food from the Subway inside the store, and she said that I could. She said that she was a City cop and is now off duty and told me to call 911 for help. I did and waited 40 minutes for a chunky Black officer who showed up and acted like he cared nothing about the children. I wasn't leaving. I said, "So what are you going to do?" He said, "Right now, nothing comes to mind." I said, "WHAT??!! I said, "Maybe CPS!" Both cops tried to tell me that children can be alone at the age of 8. Let me tell you what I told them. "I used to work for the Police Headquarters and the Office of the Attorney General. Yes, children can be left at home at their age, BUT they CAN NOT be left outside alone to beg for money or food!" Furthermore, I'm sure this must be against Walmart's policy! I got his name, badge number, and incident number. I was not letting it go that easy. Someone has to care about...

This visit was smooth sailing. I hate to complain, but the lines are always so long. I plan for this when i make my daily schedule. The cashiers are normally pretty efficient and friendly (which thru observation, the customers can be a bit rude). Kudos to them for dealing with "challenging" customers and not walking out or take it out on the next person in line. The pharmacy is hit or miss. The line is either nonexistent or at least 5 deep. The staff try to be as efficient as possible, but at least one customer EVERY time has some sort of issue they need to dispute and hold everything up. I saw many times that the pharmacy had no control over an issue and the extremly rude customer took their frustrations out on the. There are several places to within walking distance in Mall. It is on the public transportation bus line. The Dollar Store, Rite Aide, Aldi, Workout location, M &T Bank, Fast Food Places and the public library can be found at this location. Next to this location is I Hop, Wal-Mart's is nearby, Gas Stations, YMCA is in the area and Home Depot. The Liberty Senior Center is in the area. HIP HOP Chicken is in the area. A short drive down the road will take you to Food Lion. There are banks, drugstores, CVS, Shoppers is a short drive. There is an organic cleaners in the area. There is free parking.
