I was there last month on a Sunday where one of the staff members who wore glasses ,refused to attend to me because he was flirting with a lady who had already bought her chicken . The second staff who was very respectful and helpful kept telling him to attend to me but he acted blatantly refused to listen and went on talking to the lady. It took a third staff to come to the cold room to attend to me . I was very upset and almost walked away if not for the first staff who apologized on his colleague’s behalf and asked me to stay. I recently visited this African International Food Store and was blown away by the entire experience! The quality of their products is outstanding, especially their selection of meats and dried goods. Everything was fresh, and I was able to find authentic ingredients that are hard to come by elsewhere. I was in the pikeville area briefly and must say this is my to-go for authentic African groceries. Amply stocked with a variety of staple food items from different African countries. By far the most reasonably priced store i've encountered and this is coming from a frequent traveler. The quality to price ratio is unmatched.
