I went to this IHOP because I had went there a several years ago and enjoy the experience. This morning. I went to the IHOP. We was waited on by an waiter and he took out order without writing anything down. We were kind of impressed that he could remember everything without writing anything down. We ordered cheese eggs and scrabble. We also ordered pancakes.we aked the scrapple would be cut then and well done. When we got our order, the scrapple was not there. He apologized and said he would go and get it. We then found out that the eggs were cold. So we asked them for some more eggs. The pancakes were not even well done. When he brought the eggs, the eggs did not have cheese in it, which was originally ordered when we asked him about it, he said he did not eat cheese. We asked him to just look at the eggs and we could see and he could see that there were no cheese in the eggs, He stated did we want more cheese because the both of them were yellow. But we decided to eat it anyway, he then brought the scrapple. After all of that, when the scrapper came out, it was not cut until after it was cooked, which meant the scrapper was not even crispy to eat. We told him about it and said that we were still going to pay for the food when we asked for the check another gentleman came over to the table and ask us did we want a box, that's when we went to explain to him about the meal, he never told us who he was. Then he told us well, we didn't have to pay for the meal. Even though we had said we were going paid for it and asked us to leave. We felt then that he was putting us out of the store and disrespectfully. He should have came if he was the owner and identify his self to us. I didn't know if he was the bus boy or security, and then after he tried to rush us out of the store and then came out the store with us as if he was going to physically put his hands-on us, I have a problem with that because had he put his hands-on me. I would have considered an assault and he would have been a big issue. We had no reason to stay in the store. Afterwards, this is a very poor representation of a man who claims to be a black owner of that store that doesn't even represent his position. What he should have done is tell us who he was and find out first what the issue before tryying to start to put somebody out because they had a problem with the meal. Read moreI placed an order through IHOPS website, and what started out as a delivery order (i put notes on what to do at my address) somehow turned into a pickup. I called and spoke to a hostess to ask if i could cancel, so, i could get delivery, and she told me the manager went to the bathroom, and if I couldn't "figure out" how to cancel online then to call back. I then looked online for a guest relations number and they were closed. I then Looked online on "how to cancel an IHop order" in which it said I should be able to call the store I ordered from, give them my name, and order number and they should be able to cancel. It also advised that time was of the essence so call ASAP. I called back and told the hostess I would hold for the manager. She advised "she" is right here and put whoever she was on the phone. I spent 10 minutes on the phone with this young lady who said she was the manager and didn't see my order after about 5 more minutes she found it. All I needed was for the transaction to he canceled so I could order again for delivery, she advised she couldn't...(if she is the manager, how is that a thing) then someone named Rudy got on the phone and advised he was the manager and that the "owner" could only refund my order, and it went downhill from there...he even accused me of "making stuff up" when I told him that I was advised to give my name and order number to have the order canceled. My manners went out the windows after that. Im beside myself, and HAVE NEVER dealt with such disrespect. I dont have my money back, so I will not be letting this go. My family and I Visited the restaurant a few nights ago and received deplorable service. When we walked in we found chairs line up creating a barrier between the entrance/exit and the dinning/ kitchen area. Taped to the back of the chairs were signs saying wait here. We waited for about 15 with no acknowledgment or greeting from the staff. We politely asked the hostess an approximate wait time and was met with unprofessionalism and for lack of better terms a piss poor attitude. In a very rude hostile tone the hostess told us to “sit down and wait”. We again requested a wait time. The hostess became increasingly agitated, rude, and disrespectful. She stated “like I said y’all can sit down and wait, don’t ask again”. We asked for the manager and the hostess stated “ I am the manager, try again” Witnessing the deplorable service we were receiving, the back kitchen cook then greet my family and I with an apology while the hostess continued spewing rude and unprofessional remarks. Not only was the hostess rude and unprofessional, she was operating without sanitary practice. She served food after touching money and wiping tables without washing her hands all while not wearing a hair net. Our experience here was horrible. Needless to say we left. The lined up chairs created a major fire hazard as ingress and egressed was blocked, the staff used multiple unsanitary practices, and the hostess was unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful.
