If I can rate them a negative I would. This restaurant had been a go to for us especially for their Jollof rice. We buy frequently, we refer friends and family because we believed in the quality of the food, however this recent experience today with their customer service was absolute trash. You people should be ashamed yourselves, you are a disappointment to the African food community in particular. I called to order half pan of Jollof rice as we frequently do, and I was told it was $50. I was shocked and inquired further if the pricing was correct as I had just purchased the same pan a week or two prior or $35. The lady was so rude saying they've been selling it for over a year for $50 which was absolutely not true!! I explained to her the situation, and she said that's how they sell, yelling on the phone, I had to caution her several times to bring her voice down and then proceeds to hang up the phone on me. My household alone has spent over $2000 with these people since we moved to the area. You will not be getting another dime of my money or anyone I know, and I will be sure to let everyone I have referred know that your service is absolute trash. If I was the owner best believe whomever that woman I spoke to would be fired immediately. And...

I got the jerk Chicken with veggie rice and the fish with veggie rice to go. When I got home and we tried the food it was obvious they had burned the bottom of pot they cooked the rice in and gave us the top. If you have ever burned rice before (which i have lol )then you know that burned smokey flavor im talking about, its very unappetizing. We decided to go back (because we paid 28 dollars for the food ) and the workers basically told us, we aren't use to african food and that they cant do anything for us because they can't give the food to anyone else. We told them we acutally have friends who own an african restaurant and my best friend is african. so we were very use to the food. They then offered us a replacement, which my husband politely asked to taste first. Which is when they completely refused to give us anything. Not only is the quality of the food poor but the customer service is far worse....

Please do not waste your hard earned money ordering from this place. Everything about my order was wrong. I ordered Buka stew and eba, they replaced Buka stew with designer stew as if I don’t know what Buka stew should look like. I ordered efo-riro and yam porridge, they replaced yam porridge with white rice. When I called them, the woman said that she cannot sell yam porridge of $10 per plate with efo-riro of $20 even though it’s listed on their website. The equsi soup being sold for $20 is pathetic and it’s a disaster, full of salt or whatever they added into it that leaves a horrible after-taste in the mouth and it’s not worth a penny let alone $20.
