(Update) Had an incredible hip replacement (full) with Dr. Glassner. Amazing procedure from start to finish. No pain and only minor swelling and discomfort. One night in hospital with great staff. PT's visit on same day and get you up and walking, if you can (and I could). One week out, I feel great.
(Update) I went back to see a different doctor. I didn't have to deal with the surgery center but only the main office, and as before, they were great. My August 2020 review stands, at two stars, but overall, I'll go back to see Dr. Glassner going forward.
I should also say that Dr. Pollack called me after the August problem. I think he was trying to make up for the bad experience in August, but I just can't bring myself to go though it again until I regain some confidence
August 2020 - Loved these guys until recently. I needed meniscus surgery but they let me down twice. The doctor was Pollack but I don't think he had anything to do with my disappointment. It is purely administrative, as far as I'm concerned. One mistake is understandable, but two, in a context of day-of surgery, leaves me with no confidence that I'll use MJO again. They lost my MRI; they failed to respond to my concerns about the lost MRI, until I cancelled my future surgery. Then, on the DAY OF SURGERY, they told me, upon arrival, that they were three hours behind. This despite me calling an hour before my arrival time to confirm that all was on schedule. When they called me in, I expressed my concern about the delay and they tried to help, but it only made me feel as though I was being rushed through a knee surgery (my first surgery in 60 years, by the way). One of the front desk surgery center nurses was a typical old school nurse who thinks that people don't have a choice, and thinks that people don't pay their own freight (I have a $14K deductible). I'll find another surgeon and another...
Read moreI usually don’t post negative reviews about experiences I have had because I know how much they can affect a business, but this office is absolutely horrible. After suffering from migraines during my first pregnancy I went and saw Dr. Pandya under the suggestion of my OBGYN. After being checked in by the front desk ( who were unprofessional and too busy having personal conversations ) I waited for my appointment for quite some time before being checked in by a rude nurse into an exam room. I was left there for almost 3 hours before the doctor came in to see me for less than 5 minutes. After not understanding anything he really said and not answering my questions, he handed me some brochures that I had already read in the room while I was waiting to take home and that was it. He was somewhat apologetic and couldn’t believe I had been waiting and actually admitted they had FORGOTTEN ABOUT me and saw all of the other appointments scheduled after me. How do you forget about a 8 month pregnant patient that was checked into an exam room by a nurse with my chart outside the exam door?! I naively thought they were just running behind since doctors offices usually do anyway and didn’t have much of an option since I needed to see a neurologist as soon as possible. No one was around to ask what was taking so long. After leaving the exam room I was the only one left in the building. Most of the staff had already left for the day. Dumbfounded, I made a follow up request to speak to someone about my experience and ask them how this could have possibly happened but no one from the office ever contacted me to discuss. It was such a complete waste of time and I would never recommend...
Read moreI am writing to share my experience with Dr. Christopher Caruso, MD. I have suffered from upper back pain and neck pain for more than ten years. I have seen many doctors and had Physical Therapy, and nothing helped. This chronic pain made my life miserable. I had to miss out on activities that I love, including horseback riding and walking my large dogs. Never have I met a surgeon as excellent as Dr. Caruso, he is a Godsend to me. In a fast-paced world with high patient demands, Dr. Caruso always takes his time to listen to my concerns, is calm and caring, and takes into consideration and addresses all of my concerns, no matter how big or small. He is brilliant, and I trust my health to him. I was terrified of having spine surgery. He listened to my concerns, addressed them, provided realistic, medically sound reassurance, and supported me through the surgical and post-op recovery process. He addressed my concerns about pain and never made me feel like my concerns were not valid. He responded promptly to any issues I had. He also treated my son for a sports-related injury, and we had another fantastic experience with his kindness, guidance, concern, and thorough follow-through. I can not say in an email how much I appreciate all Dr. Caurso has done for me and my son. He is the best surgeon I have encountered and his medical team is also amazing. His staff answer calls quickly and kindly. I am glad I found him and his team. I will soon return to my love of horseback riding and working my farm. It is a miracle and I am so happy to return to the...
