We visited to celebrate my mom’s birthday. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Our food was delicious. We had for appetizers the Avocado Rolls and the Spring Rolls. For meals we had the lunch specials the Drunken Noodles with Tofu & Vegetables, Drunken Noodles with Chicken and the Pad Tai with Tofu & Vegetables. They all came with a salad with a yummy peanut ginger dressing. A couple were a pretty good portion but the one was noticeably a smaller serving size. Our only suggestion would be to clean the windows. It would make the restaurant more inviting to passerby’s. Overall we had an enjoyable dining experience.

I have been going here for over 5 years. This will be my last visit. The Rama the King Chicken dish portion is embarrassing for $20 (see photo). Also the soups are now served in a small container that is about 1/2 the size of what a typical restaurant would serve. There was also barely any beef in the noodle dish we ordered. The food quality is ok but the absurdly small portions and lack of protein in noodle dishes are offensive for the prices they charge.

This was a good place to enjoy Thai food. Everyone in my family loved their dishes. We had drunken noodle, Angel Noodle, Tom Kha Gai soup, and the classic Thai chicken curry. They even had this neat, lightly baked avocado roll that the 4 of us each enjoyed so much we were considering ordering more! We will definitely be coming back. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

Hi Owner,

I wanted to respond to your reply. I could only do so by leaving another review. Thank you for explaining noodles and sauce. I would have to disagree. I have had pad thai at many places eat in and to go and it has never been that dry or noodles stuck together. It almost seems as if it was not cooked freshly. Needless to say I asked for extra sauce many times and it was never done. As for the refund. I contacted you to work out a refund quickier than involving my bank. I also thought it was the courteous thing to do. I was going to send you proof but after your employee hung up on me and was very vwry rude I decided to dispute it with my bank. The issue is customer service. Even though your food was not the best I still patronized you. However after being hung up on and talked to rudely I rather take my business elsewhere. In addition, you have not offered your direct contact info as the owner to discuss the issue or hear my concerns. No complimentary meal or discount or coupon to address my concerns. Which in my opinion demonstrates a greater lack of customer service. As I told your employee I have worked in the food and beverage industry over 15 yrs as an accountant so I know how things works. I would use this as a training opportunity for employees and for yourself. You don't have a company email as your employee said. Get one they are free on google. I should not have to text a number and then they will forward it to the owner. The employee also said you do not have access to your merchant processor to see transactions online. If this is true as I told her you are not being seviced properly by the merchant because online access is standard practice. If you need some assitance I am a consultant and would love to help your...

Wow, I have a dilemma. I love Thai food and love my regular spot. I didn't want to like Savory Thai Cooking and I didn't. I loved it!!

First thing you'll notice is the quality of preparation. Grill marks and char flavor on the chicken and beef satay, the shape of the curry puffs speaks to by hand preparation, and the flavors... My god.

We shared a sampler appetizer which was great. Beyond what I mentioned above the spring rolls we're crisp and delicious. The condiments were also very good, especially the honey soy sauce for the spring roll. I could drink a few of those by themselves. :)

My wife had the pad kee mao (drunken noodles) and I had the panang curry. Both were excellent with the same authentic and freshly prepared flavors as the appraiser.

The curry was creamy and perfectly seasoned with aromatics and fresh curry flavors. I asked for medium spice level, which I always do when trying a new place, and it didn't leave me disappointed.

The noodles we're excellent as well. Fantastic flavor, fresh crisp vegetables and lots of Thai basil.

The chicken in both dishes was cooked well and there was plenty of it.

All around a fantastic experience which will leave me with a tough decision next time Thai night comes around. My wife has already cast her vote for Savory Thai, which likely means that will be the decision, but I certainly will be looking forward to...

I moved to Flemington 8 months ago. This is the only Thai restaurant in the area. I have eaten here only during lunch time for the lunch special. I have only done take out. I have purchased food her about 9 times. The food is mediocre; hit or miss. I only have ordered the pad thai and drunken noodle dishes. The noodles are always dry and stuck together. I asked for extra sauce and they do not give it. I continued to patronize them because they are the closest and its tolerable. I am writing a review today because the credit card machine was not working on 8/3/23 so they ran my card twice. I noticed they charged me twice on my statement. I called to get a refund instead of contacting my bank. This process is usually easier. A young female answered the phone and was very rude. I was trying to educate her on refund processes and she told me she didn't care and it's not her job to know anything but what the owner told her. After she took my phone number she hung up on me. Needless to say I will not be spending my money here moving forward. I rather drive farther for better customer service. Even before this incident they were not pleasant. I recommend you go else where...
