Some of the greens are new which is great, but some have wrinkles which case your ball to get stuck. Why the inconsistency? The course itself was built to be challenging and it was fun.

Attended the glow night, got there at 9pm after dinner, their advertisement said last players admitted at 9:15. We had a group of 5. When we checked in no one said anything to us about a hard closing time of 10pm. It was our first time there we didn’t know how long it would take us. Because it was a larger group, we let 3 couples play through so we weren’t holding them up. Got HALFWAY finished and they turned on all the lights and they basically (and rudely) told us to leave. Our group and another group who were also pretty mad.

Save your money (because this place is expensive!) We were passing through Galena on a family vacation and had been told this was a good mini golf place with lots of obstacles. It was not, it was 26 bucks for 2 adults and one kid (we live in the Chicago suburbs where everything is expensive and we've been to a place around here that is cheaper than this.) The greens looked torn up and like they were not taken care of and the "obstacles" were maybe one or 2 rocks in the way on some of the courses. We have tried to go mini golfing here twice and both times we showed up 45 min-1 hour before their website (and hours listed on the door) showed that they closed. Both times the open sign was on and door unlocked but when we went in the kids working told us we couldn't golf because they stop letting people golf right then. The most recent time we walked through the doors at 7:15 pm and the worker told us they start closing at 7:15. So keep that in mind, their hours are not as they are listed online or on the door.
