I contacted this business in regards to placing a custom DTF order basically letters for homecoming overalls of different sizing. We spoke via messenger she assured me she could do what I needed. She told me over the phone she would like them in canva (smart because the PNG files have a ton of letters to each one). I was not familiar with Canva, but we got it done and I sent her an email with the link like she asked with different sizes for each line of letters written next to what line they were all between 2-5 inches except 3 letters that needed to be 6 inches. She calls me back and confirmed the order and assured me she could tweak the sizing. Twice. I pick up the order and she tells me there was extra space on the sheet so she put some other stuff on it. Me not paying attention because they are being so friendly and Im in a hurry to get back to my job pays for the order and leaves only to unroll the order at home to have them all the same size. When I messaged to ask if there was anyway we could get them 6 inches like my email had said. I got crickets. No response. Luckily someone else was able to print them for me on short notice, but not before talking to other dtf print shops in the area who told me they had been hearing this alot from this shop. As someone who owns a business I couldn't imagine telling someone I could do what they asked, not doing it, and than failing to respond to make it right and hoping they didn't notice. I understand they are a new business which is why I didn't publicly blast them when looking for another DTF print shop. I hope they are able to work out their kinks, because it was a cute shop in a friendly spot to get to traffic wise, but I will not be back to test out another custom order.
Edit per your response- calling multiple times is not stellar communication. Listening and reading the email would have been. My email had the sizes of each set written next to them. I made it clear on the phone multiple times that they were three different sets of overalls so they needed to be different sized letters for each page in canva. Also stated in my email literally line by line the sizing for each line of letters. Which you were reading off to me on the phone the second time. Being friendly and adding things I didn't ask for do not make it better that I got completely the wrong order. One order wanted ruffles on the bottom of her overalls and now can not have them due to that one of the legs having too large of letters. One leg woukd have had letters that where too small when she wanted that one xl. Measurements weren't there for funsies and I stressed the importance of sizing. You assured me it could be done. Having a cute store and having an affordable quick turnaround also do not take away from the order being wrong. I would have rather waited for longer and paid more to get the order right. I did not put it on fb because I do empathize that you are a new small business in waxahachie, but I also feel that you were in a rush to hurry up and get these printed and make the sale that you didnt worry about "tweaking the sizing" like you told me you would do. Which other people who might be on a time crunch need to know. Also it would have been fine. All that needed to be said was I can't do it and I would have found someone that could. Not printing it and just hoping I didnt notice or say anything. Which to be fair I didnt notice till I got home and was like wow thats way too small for this pant leg. I do not need a refund I had someone reprint the MJH and I will just make the rest work (although now they are different colors) and throw that part away.
