I’ve been coming to this market for the last 5 years, and it has gone downhill. The only thing I would recommend at this market are the food stalls, but even those are getting worse. Wiseguys has much smaller portions, barely filled sausage sandwich for $12? They used to be $10 and much bigger. However the hot dog stall is amazing as usual, same with the bbq when it’s there.
If you’re looking for fresh produce, heirloom tomatoes are the only decent thing to get fresh. Cha new life has great black krims and heirlooms. Corn is a hit or miss depending on the stall. Hazelnuts are great but this year they are missing the orange flavor (best flavor!).
Be very wary of certain scummy produce stalls that don’t label their prices. I once purchased broccoli for $6 per pound at an unlabeled stall. I mistakenly assumed it was $4/pound like the other stalls. I will not name them but they have lost a customer. Always make sure...

Nice variety and fun visit, but could use some...

I’ve eaten from them multiple times now — the grilled chicken is juicy and flavorful, the kafta is 🔥, and the gyro hits the spot every time. But let’s talk about that falafel… crispy perfection. And the hummus? So creamy it should be illegal. Don’t sleep on the tabbouleh either fresh and zingy just like it should be.
If you see them at the market, RUN (don’t walk)! You’ll...
