I didn’t know what I was missing until I tried one of the authentic Mexican conchas. They are a soft fluffy bun with a soft sugar cookie crust topping! They are so good, my son is requesting I try one of their filled ones next time.
We also like the cream filled brioche donuts. They come in a variety of creams from caramel, strawberry, raspberry, lemon blueberry and Nutella. They remind me of the malasadas we tried on our trip to Hawaii.
They offer a variety of delicious baked goods at the local farmers market pop ups. What we have tried so far has been excellent.
We have yet to visit the store front in Redmond, WA. It’s summer time and they have a regular pop up tent at several local farmers markets. We go to the Renton Farmers Market on Tuesdays from 3pm-7pm. They also offer a variety of refreshing fruit drinks called agua fresco that is a must try on hot summer days to stay hydrated. The owner let me try mango strawberry.
This is a small family business, the owner is friendly and kind. We definitely will be back to try their other...
Read moreI am so glad I got to visit this bakery this morning - it's been on my want to visit list for a while. It was a little eerie trying to find it because it's currently located in the backside of a building in a very industrial park, but Google Maps took me directly to it. This may annoy some people that there are no prices listed for the pastries, but I'm happy to pay for good food and support a local small business. Expect to pay $5-6 per pastry. I also got a Mexican hot chocolate. I burnt my mouth drinking it, but my goodness was it good. Smooth, thick, cinnamon-y. Get a churro concha, you...

I spoke up and asked if they had any strawberry cakes as they were advertising 3 different flavors. She very rudely and abruptly responded “yeah, later” and turned back to the other 2 women and offered them cakes. I was stunned, embarrassed and disappointed. I wanted so badly to just forget it even happened but I’m still thinking about it over a day later and can’t shake how she made me feel....
