This shop is run by a father/son team and they are adorable when they start in on each other (jokingly.) More importantly, they have beautiful high end peices and you can tell this is a profession they both enjoy immensely. I had a charm bracelet from my grandmother and it was....distracting? Maybe not the right word. It was HIGE and every time you moved, ievefyone knew due to the charms clinking. I've had rings sized here but never had the need for anything to be custom made until now. I explained I wanted to make two of the charms into rings and sell the remaining gold to them. The son advised me to male one of the charms a necklace versus a ring because it wasn't gold and it would cost big bucks to get it mounted correctly. For the second charm, he took the time to show me the mounting options and his three suggestions. He reads people will because he didn't show me any scrolled or overly girly rings dispute me being done up from work. After I picked the mount he got specifics on how I wanted it to look. Altogether he spent well over an hour making sure he knew the vision in my head. He asked me to wait a week and if I hadn't heard from him yet, call the shop and ask. I never had to think about it. Took my wifes ring in to get 2 diamonds replaced, as well as repair my old wedding band that had been badly bent to the point of breaking. When it was time to pick up I mentioned my current titanium band was really tight. The jeweler resized the band & polished it right there on the spot despite me not making an appointment for that. When it was time to pay i was surprised at the price, literally HALF what I expected.This was not my first visit & definitely not the last, the staff at Goldilocks are always friendly and helpful, the prices very fair. The team at Goldilocks is amazing. They truly treat you like family. Their communication is excellent, their prices are very fair. Any issues that come up they take care of immediately, and they genuinely care about making sure everything is done right. My partner and I went in to get our engagement ring and wedding bands, and they did an amazing job, and we are incredibly happy to have chosen them.
