Hobby Lobby — Local services in Reno

Love the store without a doubt! The staff also seemed great at first.... I'm 49yrs old, Retired Gen Contractor from Ca. And a decorated disabled vet with epilepsy, so I can't drive. I do however biuld, buy, and sell high end mountain bikes as a hobby. The bikes I ride personally usually are worth $6000-$8000 f one was actually stolen at savers Aug. 1st,1/2 mile from these guys. So of coarse when I got there on another $6000 bike, I asked if I could bring it in and they allowed it. Great I love that and it allows me time to browse without worry. I hadn't planned on going there but I live for the moment, Been married 3 times and I've owned a million dollar construction Co in calli, and I fought for this country. I have tattoos, bald, 5'8, 160lbs,not bad looking and my normal attire is jeans and a t-shirt, workbooks. But apparently I look like a homeless shady, thieving bum to thier snotty silver spoon college age employees! I pay for what I got, grabbed my bike went outside lit a smoke and was approached by an employee that bummed a smoke from me, laughed and stated the fact that the whole time I was there, I was being followed and watched and that the staff actually had a pool hoping on what I would steal and the value of it! I never have dressed to impress, and never will! What you see, is what you get! I don't lie, cheat, or steal! Never had to! I don't dress like a bum either! The bike I rode in there is worth more than most of them will make in 6 months but who cares! Instead of helping me out anyone else, basically the whole staff was in on a bet that I was a thief, and one of them bummed a cigarette from me to boot! These are the people I fought for?...

I bought a helium tank a week ago and took it home and it didn’t work, I could hardly get any balloons out of it and it says 30-50 balloons. I called hobby lobby and told them and spoke to a really nice manager John and he said I shouldn’t bring it in because they wouldn’t be able to dispose of it because of some osha law. I explained that I no longer had the reciept but I could take it in for them to see it. He told me his manager would have to call me back. I got a call the next day late in the afternoon and it was John not his manager and he told me that his manager said there was nothing they could do. I then asked to speak to her and John transferred me to her. When she answered I started to explain the situation and 2 minutes in to the conversation she says “wait who’s this? I told her I was a customer and had explained who I was at the beginning. I continued to explain to her my situation and told her that it’s not fair no where on their receipts does it say you can’t return a helium tank. Keep in mind they are super expensive and I was left with a bunch a balloons I couldn’t inflate. She then proceeded through tell me there was nothing she could do. I hate to say this but the manager there Desiree is super rude and not helpful at all. Don’t buy helium tanks from them buy them from Walmart at least they can back up there products. $40 dollars...

I hadn't been in Hobby Lobby in a while so I'm not familiar with where things are. It was very busy when I walked in. Not a lot of employees on the floor. I was looking for Christmas items for crafts I was putting together. They did have their Christmas decorations at the front of the store to the right. But wit all the people milling around, I went left when I arrived and didn't see the decorations. I did find the snow and miniatures I needed but they were in the back of the store. All the little items were on different kioks in the middle of the isle. It was very inconvenient going from one end to the other walking around the displays with the crowd. People!e were trying to come out of the main isles while I was trying to find d items. No one asked if they could help me and just went about their jobs. The decorations were all together on big isle and easy to find items. I got a coupon on line and asked the cashier if she gave me the 40% off the priciest item. I know she had helped a lot of people but she acted as if she was annoyed at me And not too happy to be there. The set up could be a little better for a...
