Family First Community Center — Local services in Renton

First off I am very upset about how I was treated today with staff at the front desk- very rude unprofessional & unkind by staff “ entering the building being yelled at down the hallway and feeling threatened at his tone of voice while assisting a few others and still yelling at the same time . really just unable to explain and speak in a professional manner and way without the hatred and harshness towards me and my daughter was really disappointing and disturbing “ and also disheartening.

3/13/25 I was addressed by a staff Member African American male “ right around 2:40 pm as I approached the medical clinic inside with my child whom is a young adult was in process of celebrating her 18th birthday just today and trying to receive her check up at family first “ we had to reschedule because after the staff was unkind and hostile with me I no longer felt like family first nor alound at this clinic where I was enjoying receiving care for my children As I was told maybe I should choose another location and that don’t come in here with THAT energy which was super uncomfortable UNPLEASANT Unprofessional I could not believe such scrutiny this was a horrible experience and trauma this should have never happened.

I am praying to god about this how am I supposed to feel safe when there’s staff like this

And if this is the definition of family it’s family that you stay away from @ please review the footage!!!

HOWEVER IM LEAVING THIS REVIEW IN HOPES THAT THIS NEVER HAPPENS TO ANY OTHER FAMILY AGAIN “ AND SO THE COMMUNITY CAN BEAWARE AND TO NOT HAVE TO ENDURE THIS SCRUTINY.

The doctor, there was very intimidating and forceful to try to force me to make my daughter get all the vaccines in the book, when I said that I wanted a religious exemption, she left the room mid sentence and printed out a sheet that did not include any vaccines that I wanted to be exempt to get my daughter into kindergarten! then she would not see me and said that that was the final result and I had to go see a different clinic if I wanted a different clinic if I wanted a different result for exemptions for vaccinations. And when I went to talk to the office and the manager to explain the problems I was dealing with all they had to say was go talk to a different exemptions, a terrible place to take a children. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Scheduling is weird, though. My other mom friend and I agree it's great if you're a teen, but not as much for a young mom. They turned us down on multiple separate occasions when we wanted to work out because the building was reserved for teens. My schedule as a SAHM does not permit me to work out during the other hours unless I go out of my way to find childcare. Bummer.
