We had the soft serve. My LO and I had the Unicorn + Choco. The Unicorn is supposed to be a fantasy spin on vanilla. I could NOT taste a hint of vanilla. Chocolate was more bitter and less sweet, if you like that approach for chocolate, I don't. My hubby had the Earl Gray tea flavored and LOVED it.

The texture of the soft serve is more icy than creamy. Think Chick-fil-A texture vs. creamy like Mcdees.

I bought 2 cute pens because I love Novelty pens and actually liked them more than the soft serve.

Update: still loving it. I've been about four times now and the tapioca is still perfection. Chef's kiss. My fav so far is the ube/matcha swirl and their brown sugar creme brulee milk tea. This def has become my go to place for bubble tea.

I have been looking for a new bubble tea place to try. Bobalust has been my go to because their tapioca is always spot on. But, I've been getting bored and less pleased every time I go. Service was great. The workers were all very kind and quick. However, I hope they work out some of their kinks as they become more established.

1. whatever cleaner/fragrance they use in their shop was overwhelming. It was a super strong smell and it felt like it impacted the taste of my ice cream.

2. the unicorn ice cream doesn’t taste like vanilla even though it’s advertised as such. It kind of tastes like sweet watered down milk. I suggest they fix this flavoring.

Overall, our three ice creams were okay. The texture was good. The presentation was great. And it’s creative and unique. However, the taste wasn’t the best. I will definitely try again in a few weeks to see if they...
