
I’m three weeks into classes at Gaines Fitness, and I honestly can’t imagine a better place to move, breathe, and grow. From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt something different. Kyra has cultivated more than just a fitness studio. There’s a real culture of care, tenacity, and community here that you can feel in every session.
Whether it’s flowing through a yoga sculpt session, getting energized in strength and HIIT, or unwinding during a sound bath, each experience has met me exactly where I was and challenged me grow physically, mentally, and emotionally. It’s not just a workout; it’s a reset!
Our child also had an incredible time at the summer camp. He made new friends and really connected with Coach Andre and Ms. Gaines who offered just the right mix of fun and mentorship. As a parent, that kind of environment is gold.

I absolutely love the community here. Kyra and Ronnie turn every class into something I actually look forward to—fun, challenging, and full of laughs. The strength training classes are where the real magic happens: camaraderie, support, and people who accept you exactly as you are (with or without a PR).
We joke, we lift, we sweat, we joke some more, and somehow still make gains. Every person I’ve met here is hilarious, kind, and genuinely cool.
The playlist? Always poppin’. Catch me dancing in the background between sets. It’s impossible not to.
Class options are on point. Whether you’re a morning bird, lunch break warrior, or evening grinder, there’s something for you. HIIT, strength, kettlebells, yoga, open gym, even the occasional sound bowl session to reset your brain.

Read moreI have always been a die hard Orange Theory Fitness snob. But the cost and proximity to our new house just wasn’t working for me in Renton. I had seen Wellness Gaines and loved the idea of a local gym but struggled because I didn’t think it would be as good of a workout at OTF. I did an intro class and waffled until I finally decided to commit. I have to say it was a great decision. I do the 6am class (because I have kids) and it’s perfect. The workouts change every day and we target a different muscle group each class (shout at to BBL Wednesdays)!
I love the challenge and energy of each class and I have to say the music is SO SO SO much better than OTF. There is great class variety, energy and it’s clear that community is important to Kyra. 10/10...
