So I went in yesterday for my daughters well visit. Once I said I didn't want to do vaccines, the Dr changed. She acted the same way last time and said well she can die."" Well, this time, I politely declined, and it wasn't brought up till the very end, when she looked at me in front of my child and mother in law and said I think you are wrong. Well, you aren't my childs parent. You dont get a say. When I mentioned the ingredients that I was worried about aluminum, which they use 16 aluminum based adjuvants in vaccines, she said Washington doesn't allow aluminum, which is a LIE, they don't allow Thimerosal. She had no idea what she was talking about. They stopped using Thimerosal in all childhood vaccines because of the negative effects, but it is still present in mulit dose flu vaccines given to pregnant women when they know it causes austim. When I mentioned the ingredients and my reason why, she immediately shut down and kept trying to interrupt me. I pulled out the FDA appendix of the vaccine ingredients, many have aluminum in them, and she looked puzzled when I said it was from the FDA site. She rambled about Washington not having aluminum in vaccines, but it's that simply is not true. They don't contain the thimerosal that contains mercury, not aluminum. I will attach the gov site for reference for anyone else. When I asked for the ingredients and inserts, she said they didn't have them. How can you give informed consent without giving someone all the information? Neomycin and formaldehyde are all in vaccines. Formaldehyde is a carcinogen, Neomycin is a category D drug that causes irreversible hearing loss and much more, but it's in many vaccines. She cut me off before I couldn't even get more info. All I wanted was my question answered, but she didn't even know aluminum was in vaccines! Do your research. Don't trust Dr. just because. They have no idea what vaccines can do. Look at the rates of autism, that's a higher concern as aluminum is found in the brains of ASD children, and every time I tried to bring something up to talk about it, she shut down. When we left, I said, "Have a good day. She didn't even acknowledge me and said bye buggie to my daughter. We definitely won't be going back, and I made a formal complaint. At one point, they didn't even want to do her wellness check because I wouldn't swab her just to go through the area to the weight machine. My mother in law said we called twice before the appointment for that reason and I am NOT holding my baby down and shoving a qtip up her nose because you don't wanna go out of you way to just do it in the room because we said no to you injecting my perfectly healthy baby. They did do it in the room after my MIL went snippy, but the fact we had to even press the issue is ridiculous. I would not recommend this place unless you want a Dr telling you your parenting choices are wrong. I'm paying you to check my kid out, not tell me my parenting is wrong. Should be ashamed that you wouldnt even listen or read the studies I had to show aluminum causes motor deficits. Just pushing big pharmaceutical...
Read moreI just recently brought my toddler here for the first time. The whole facility was beyond belief. Beautiful, open, inviting. The staff from entrance to clinic were all welcoming, talkative and very proud of their facility. Everything was so clean, sterile and the community center was free to register. The dental office gave FREE BOOKS to my kiddo. I was even scheduled for an appointment before leaving😁 My toddler had such a happy, pain free experience and I highly suggest bringing your family here if you are looking for gentle care. I can't wait for my appointment as well as bringing my toddler to their huge gym room/basketball court, or maybe try my rusted hand at pool in their rec room. Great facility, such wonderful staff that during our visit I forgot that we were a low income family. 5 stars are not enough, thank you...
Read moreI recently had a very disappointing experience at this health center regarding my grandmother's appointments. Initially, they mistakenly scheduled her to see a pediatrician instead of a specialist suited for her needs. After rescheduling, we had an appointment for 2:30 PM the next day. Unfortunately, we were kept waiting until 4:00 PM without any explanation or apology.
When I approached the receptionist to inquire about the delay, she responded with a poor attitude and even rolled her eyes at me. Another staff member then told me not to return to the clinic, which I found extremely unprofessional and disheartening.
Overall, the experience was frustrating and unacceptable. I hope the management takes steps to improve their scheduling system and...
