South Moon Under — Local services in Reston

If I could give this place 0 zero stars, I would. My friend and I visited this location this evening and were greeted by cold stares and silence from the staff, who were standing at the register free of any tasks or customers. They only gave a lukewarm "Hi" after we said hello first. As we walked the sales floor, no one offered any assistance, even after we encountered 2 more sales girls in the shoe area, who also received us with blank expressions. Needless to say, we left without making a purchase. I would love to say that I was surprised by their behavior, but this is not the first time that we've experienced it. We have both come in separately on different occasions and received the same treatment. My friend even went as far as to report the incident to the manager, who expressed genuine remorse for what happened, but it is clear that the message was not communicated to her staff. If I absolutely have to shop at South Moon in the under, I recommend visiting the Mosaic location, which is at least a little better, or sticking to online, which is the only way to truly avoid a negative customer service experience with...

Caveat emptor folks. Customer satisfaction clearly not part of the corporate mission. Bought a shirt as clearance item. Tried to return it within the same hour (poor fit) and was told that corporate changed the policy recently and they were not allowed to refund the item.
