I came for one night and ended up staying the whole weekend. This is a brand new hotel in the Reston town center area. The hotel is beautifully decorated with well-appointed rooms. The continental breakfast was slightly underwhelming, considering the upscale hotel. It was equivalent to a lower-end chain hotel. The indoor pool was nice but chilly. The restaurant on the lower level is beautifully decorated with nice appetizers and a cocktail menu. Since the property is located in a suburban area, paying $17 a day for parking is disappointing. The parking garage is shared with business buildings within the same plaza. However, weekend parking should be free, considering that large portions of the garage remain vacant. We also attempted to connect a video console to the TV in our room. We followed the instructions on the TV; however, we could not control the volume once the device was plugged in. We called the front desk and asked for assistance, but no one ever came. It would’ve been a more significant issue if we stayed for an extended stay. Overall, this is a great property, highly recommended for a staycation or for out-of-towners. We will certainly be revisiting...
Read moreThis hotel just opened, so everything is clean and new. Some areas are still under construction and a little rough, like the fridge was not level with the floor yet, but everything should be fully ready soon. The room was spacious and well stocked with basic kitchen utensils and dishes, even dish soap. I liked the vanity area by the closet, there was decent storage around the space, built in cubby, dresser, big desk, etc.
The bathroom was spacious and had counter space. I'm not a fan of the half wall shower (it doesn't close) which causes steam to collect around the bathroom, which makes you cold and steamy simultaneously, especially without a strong bathroom fan. There were pleasant smelling shampoo, conditioner, body wash.
Breakfast is included at Residence Inn (not at the AC portion of the property). The attendants were good with restocking, organizing and cleaning up. The room to eat was large and comfortable with tables and lounge type seating.
The hotel is walkable to various places and the downstairs bar/restaurant (Seven) was nice as well with friendly staff and unique drinks.
Overall, a good stay. I'd recommend going if you're looking for a...
Read moreWe had a pleasant two-night stay at the Residence Inn Reston Town Center. The location is great right by the Metro stop and a short walk to Reston Town Center with all its restaurants and shops. The check-in staff was very nice and helpful. We liked that the parking garage had bike racks. The hotel is brand new, so everything is nice and clean and fairly modern. We had a one-bedroom suite with two queen beds and a sofa bed. It was as standard as it gets, though again it was nice that everything was new, clean and it good working order. The kids enjoyed the pool, and the outdoor play area right by the hotel. I don't expect too much out of the Residence Inn breakfast buffets, though this one was...
