I love aldi. I love the quality and I love the prices but, I will not be returning to this store. On 10/2/23, at 6:15pm, my husband child and I went to get groceries for the week after we got off work bas I said, love the selection.
Once we got to the register the lady scanned our produce and items and put them in another cart instead of the cart that had my child, large bag of dog food, and heavy container of cat litter in it. Mind you, she scanned these items and saw my husband put them back in our original cart. Once my husband and I started walking out with our 2 carts, she scolded up to bring back a cart. There were 6 carts behind her. My husband grabbed one for her so we didn't have to move our already fussy child and she proceeded to be rude and raise her voice to him about how she needed one with a quarter already in it. If the cart was loose already then didn't it have a quarter in it?
She proceeded to glare at us and run her mouth until we moved out child and the heavy items into the other cart.
If you have a system in place cool. Then voice that to your customers or better yet, why not use the cart that had the child in it?

Read moreI like coming here often to get my usual groceries and to try their seasonal, new stuff. I do think they need to fix their price labels for the stuff on the shelves and freezers. Half the stuff in the freezers aren’t labeled or priced. As for the shelves, the price tags don’t match the items right above it. A lot of their fall stuff was marked down. I bought apple cider since it was labeled as 79 cents, but as I was looking at my receipt at home, I got charged the normal price not the marked down, sale price. Unfortunately, the seasonal aisle’s shelves where the food is placed on needs to be fixed. As many of us do, I budget my grocery shopping so it’d be nice to have the correct prices displayed.
Update: I got a set of cups for ten bucks and a bar item for three bucks. The cashier scanned my cups twice and claimed the bar item was ten bucks and not three bucks. Please slow down on the scanning after every customer. We’re practically getting shoved out of the line and the other customers’ stuff is already getting scanned before we step away. That causes mistakes such as the doubled charge...
Read moreVery unfortunate news today when I come into one of my favorite grocery stores. There was chicken misplaced the refrigerator where there's usually beverages. I asked someone to grab that because I wanted a beverage and I was met with attitude and poor customer service. One line was only available. I overheard a conversation with the manager saying call for backup. And the young lady cashier refused and then continue to give me an attitude after. I don't know her name. Unfortunately she wasn't wearing a badge. Then she decided to talk back and say questionable statements." But I'm handling it" I believe was the statement.
