Bought a Keurig - it didn't work and owner refused to even give a store credit. I understand when buying second hand that these things can happen so I was not unreasonable about it. I tried for several days to get a hold of the owner and when I finally got a call back, I was told their exchange policy is 3 days and even if they were willing to do an exchange, it would have to be for another Keurig. Well, the fact is, there was not another Keurig like this one available there when I bought it and, I had already had to buy a brand new one because I needed to be able to make coffee. I tried to be reasonable and simply accept a store credit and return the machine, but was told this was not an option and said that they tell everyone the policy is 3 days....which I was NEVER told. She then said it is posted, however, if it is, it is not prominently displayed as it should be. In a case such as this where there is no way to fully test the item for functionality, I believe it falls upon the business to ensure the item they sell is in good working order or to allow returns on it. I did not press the matter, but rest assured, I will not return under any circumstances. I will instead, attempt to find a buyer for the machine, BUT I will be honest about the fact that it does not always dispense the specified amount of beverage. Yes, it does heat and yes, it does dispense, but when I set it for a 10 ounce cup of coffee, it does not necessarily dispense that much and I have to re-run it at 4 ounces to get my full cup. Have shopped here multiple times and the inventory is always changing. Today, I got to witness one of the owners/managers dressing down an employee on the sales floor. I only caught bits and pieces of the argument, but both parties were COMPLETELY unprofessional towards each other and doing something on the sales floor that could have been handled in private.
