Do not ever use this man. EVER. He is under the impression that the thumbtack cost is the cost for him driving to your house. Once he arrived, he asked for 90 for diagnostics which he wanted to run at his shop. No problem. I asked him to send me an estimate of repairs. He told me he would do so. I get a bill from him for 720. This was too much. So I asked him to return the machine to me. He then shows up at my house and demands extra money as he has done the repairs (that I did not authorize). He told me that unless I paid him, then he would 'undo' the repairs. I told him I didn't trust him to do anything! I wanted my computer back, that's all. Then he said he would undo the repairs and I would have to pick up the computer in Pinole. I paid for an IN-HOME service. This is at least an hour from my house. And then I would have to sign some sort of release that I would not leave him any negative reviews or contact my credit card company. Now he has kept my computer. I had to file a report with Alameda PD. He will not return any text or emails. I am also contacting my credit card company to get my money back from his 'visit'.
Just as a side note, these are direct quotes from Frank of GtronTech to me:

Further, we will contact our mediator today in an attempt to discuss with him ( as no further communications between you and our company ) post all your signatures releasing and removing of all your weird acts / reviews and the unknown ones on the future before we can discuss the pickup of your machine if you still have interest in it
In the meantime you can seek arbitration And will respond accordingly "

Read moreCan only assume most of the reviews here are fake. The first day I contacted Gtron, the guy seemed very nice and understanding, even came in a little early to pick up my computer at 9 am. It only goes downhill from there, where he tells me to pay 125$ cash to diagnose my computer. It seems a little sketchy, but I decide to trust him and the reviews. I tell him it's a motherboard issue and to see if anything else is wrong. An hour later he calls me to tell me exactly what I told him, the motherboard has an issue. For the whole week, he just so happens to not be able to come in early, ONLY the day he needs to collect my computer and the money. The day comes to pick up my computer, he is really vague about fixing it, trying to rush me out the door, telling me he is in a conference meeting. He just tells me its gonna be a couple hundred to fix, 400-500 I think he said. My motherboard only cost 150$ and he's telling me it's going to cost triple to fix.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
