Not worth spending your time or money here. For starters, the woman at the register was wearing AirPods. She had a hard time getting my order (burrito and chips/queso) - if she wasn’t wearing AirPods she might have been able to hear me. The nachos were $8 which is not worth it - literally it’s chips with melted cheese. They also microwaved this plastic container to melt the cheese which isn’t healthy. I hope they take this feedback to heart because there’s very few places in the area

Overpriced, small serving sizes I ordered their carne asada plate that cost me $17 which advertised as $12 on their online ordering system. The meat was too thin, although well-spiced, only 2 small avocado slices, the beans and salad were okay. I expected a high-quality plate with large serving sizes for $17. This was my first time eating here and probably my last. I good aspect is their fast service and beautiful decor, but way OVERPRICED.

Ordered tacos al pastor. They gave us carnitas. It was good but disappointed when I questioned the server, and she said it's definitely al pastor. Big chunks of meat 1/2 the size of a golf ball. Our friends from Chavinda make us the same carnitas at their parties several times during the year. We also visit Mexico 2 to 3 times a year and always get tacos al pastor. Sad that the server thinks we're that ignorant. Won't be going back.

I used to come to Dona Maria's pretty frequently about 3 years ago, and I just loved the food. I just got a burrito from there today and it was disappointingly bland; and the rice was dry and crispy. Idk if it was just an off day today? The workers still seem real friendly, fast service, cozy little spot, and the place is nice n clean.

Edit: (2 years later): I'll definitely be going back soon to test out their burritos. Hopefully I can update my review with a more positive review/more stars and a better tasting burrito, bcuz I really love this cute little place. Update coming real soon. And, just fyi.. I do still recommend this place.

6/30/21 Edit Update: WOW! Just finished a burrito from Dona Maria's for my update review and wow.. it was delicious!! Refried beans, rice, guacamole, pico, hot sauce, grilled peppers and onions... Absolutely Amazing!! 😍👏 This place is so good. Love em. Thank you Dona...

We placed our order through grubhub. Originally, our order was the Chili Relleno Plate and the Pork Mole' with everything extra. Quickly the restaurant called to let us know the they were out of Chili Rellenos. They asked what we would like to replace it with. Of course, our go to is always anything with fish. Happily we changed our order to the fish burrito and pork mole' burrito with the works! The restaurant sales person was kind, courteous and very professional. Customer service is very important to us, no matter where we do our business. They definitely will have our business in the near future. This was our first time ever, trying the famous Mexican mole'.
