Absolutely disgusting behavior and discrimination against others with disabilities and that utilize a service animal. Before we could even walk through the door, the woman up front was yelling at my friend and I. We both use service dogs for our disabilities, my friend had her guide dog with her. This woman was yelling at us that we can’t come in with “that dog” no dogs allowed, was explained that she is a highly task trained service dog. A they state well we have a “protection dog”. As someone that has been training dogs for over 16 years no problem I understand the need for protection, service dogs, ect . She seemed like she was putting said dog up. Nope then the owner comes out screaming that they don’t allow service dogs in their shop due to their “ protection dog”. I try and explain that that is breaking state and federal as they are open to the public. The owner states well what happens if a fight breaks out, I tell him that’s on him. If he has a true protection dog then it should have a stable mind and ignore others unless told. Same with true task trained service dogs as ours are they ignore everything around them and work and mitigate their handler’s disabilities. After that he says “I am open to the public I let you in”. After he says that, I say but you won’t let a disabled person into your shop, he then proceeded to yell at me and say well I’m not open to you or the public then, I’m closed! As I walk out with video proof of the unprofessional actions and discrimination everything caught on video. The woman proceeds to go around the corner and grab their “protection dog”. Seeing this dog it’s definitely not a protection dog it’s just a reactive dog that is it. I highly do not recommend this shop as they have an unstable untrained dog labeled as a protection dog in their establishment. Which holds a dangerous for all pedestrians and customers. They discriminated against others with disabilities, they also don’t care that they are breaking state and federal law. There are plenty of other amazing jewelry stores around that follow state and federal law, and do not discriminate against others. This has been reported and we will not stand by and be discriminated against due to our disabilities and our medical equipment. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS...

While walking by a few days ago I fell in love with some beautiful pieces through the window, but they were closed when we walked by. A few days later we happen to walk by again and this time they are open. I was SO excited to look at what they offered and hoped to have a new favorite store, oh how I was wrong.
As I walk through the front door, the woman at the desk yells “ NO NO NO NO NO, NO DOG” As someone with PTSD and a Panic Disorder, being yelled at immediately upon opening the door was alarming for me. I stepped back and informed her “She is a Guide Dog, she is not a pet.” She states she has a dog in there and tells me to wait, it appears as though she is putting the dog up. A moment later a man comes up front and tells us my Guide Dog is not allowed in their store because they have a “Protection Dog” My friend had to discuss with them how this is illegal and he refused to even offer another way to view his inventory.
As my friend walks out of the store, the woman brings their dog to the front, in an attempt to scare us off. Their “Protection Dog” walks up to the glass all happy go lucky but then sees my Guide Dog and becomes reactive, hackles up and eyes focused on my dog. As someone who has a trained Personal Protection Dog, their dogs behavior gave it away this was not a truly trained protection dog, this is an untrained pet dog with reactivity issues and should see a trainer. True personal protection dogs are very highly trained and will listen to their commands, this dog would not even listen to the woman when she tried calling it away from the door. This store is dangerous for the public by having an untrained reactive dog in the storefront, and they do not care about disabled individuals.
Law enforcement did write an incident report on this and we will be pursuing legal action for breaking...
Read moreI took my wedding ring set to Leeds to be resized and I had a truly horrific experience. John Leeds was unbelievably rude when we first approached him to ask if he could resize the rings, and treated us like dirt despite the fact that we were very polite and willing to pay quite a bit to have the rings properly resized. He agreed to resize them, gave us a specific date to come and pick up the rings and stated that they would be ready by then. We came in on that day, and he asked us why we were there in a very rude tone. We showed him the receipt he'd given us stating that we were to pick up the rings that day, and he said he hadn't even started working on them. He was very unapologetic and told us to come back in a few days. We did, and he still wasn't finished! Later that day, he informed me that he had broken a stone on one of the rings. He didn't apologize, or offer any discount whatsoever. About a week later he finally let us know the rings were finished and repaired. One was properly resized, but the other was a half-size too big. He charged us double what a department store (we got estimate from Belk and JC Penny) would have charged us, and throughout the entire process he did not apologize once. I would NEVER recommend him and I will never do business with him again. Furthermore, the entire process took nearly 3 weeks--longer than it would have taken if we had shipped them off for resizing! Horrible customer service and shoddy work. I had to take my rings elsewhere to have them properly fixed after his...
