New India Supermarket — Local services in Richmond

Bought paneer the other day, went home with it found it to be expired.. called them they said sorry bring it back will replace.. I let it go happens sometime. Another day bought Indian chocolates and few other snacks, expired.. I let it go… bought sweets had mold…

I have worked in Indian store and restaurants before and I know they don’t wanna trash anything until customer come back with expired items.. but what if customer forgot to check the date and consume it, It can be life threatening…

Dear store owner, would you feed your children or parents with expired items? If Yes, I don't have anything to say but if it’s a big NO then please rotate your stuffs and trash or return any expired items..

This store is comparatively bigger than other Nepali/Indian stores in this area. You'll probably find everything you're looking for , if not, ask the owner. He would bring it for you. This is out go to store. The owner and other staff are very friendly. Other day, we ordered big order of samosas for an event and we were supposed to pick it up at 11 AM but for some reason, I could not get there on time. I ended up picking up at 2 PM instead. The owner was kinda upset becasue he had to bring in someone early make those samosas. He said he already sold my order because I was not there by 1130 AM however he made another fresh batch for us and it was hot when I picked them up. Sorry and thank you so much. ...

I am so glad that that we have this store in our neighborhood. Owners are extremely warm and welcoming and friendly. Storev is very clean n organized. Almost all the stuff which I need for Indian cooking is available. They carry some Nepali and srilankan stuff too. Sometimes If we don't find something they try to get it for us as soon as possible. They are always asking to customers how they can improve their service. I was really impressed by their hospitality and service. I would highly recommend this store for India grocery...
