Tonight I made an Uber Eats order for my hungry wife who's nursing our 6 month old baby at 5:44. The estimated delivery was 7:07. At 8:30, the order still hadn't arrived and there was no update of any sort. They didn't give clarity whether the order was forgotten on the restaurant's end, your end, but I hope that you will switch services from Uber Eats for the following reason:

After calling customer service to check the order, we were told the order was cancelled and despite my wife and I hungrily waiting for three hours, customer service's advice was to reorder through Uber Eats and "sorry for the inconvenience." After speaking with the supervisor, we were told that we could receive a refund of the delivery fee on our reorder, but to receive that refund of a few dollar delivery fee, we would have to call customer service back. The lack of value of the customer experience was frankly shocking and the inability to offer more than a few dollars for the low quality experience, waste of our time, and barrier to even accessing a few dollar delivery fee refund...

Sushi in the time of Covid is for sure an adventure! Finding good sushi, with fresh fish and reasonable prices can be a challenge. We tried this place for the first time 2 weeks ago. We were back 6 days later. Food was fresh. My chicken karaage was still hot and crispy when I got home...and I live 25 minutes away! Score! The Lion King was amazing. The bento boxes are kinda small but it is perfect if you are ordering sushi or apps on the side. We tried the jalapeno bombs and the baked mussels as well. Both were very tasty. Good food, reasonably priced, nice friendly folks...all in all, it was a thumbs up for us. We will be back...

Nori Roll is a great family owned sushi restaurant that I am very happy to have called my “local sushi spot” while I lived in El Cerrito area. The rolls taste fantastic and the fish is fresh. Their tuna and Hamachi dishes were our favorites!

A couple of notes: It’s a family run business, and the restaurant is incredibly popular in the evenings during dinner time. They at times are overwhelmed with the number of orders. I’m mentioning this because you must know to have Patience when doing takeaway/takeout during peak hours. I’ve seen some very hangry people treat them poorly, and it’s sad because they do...
