An update to my post (09/07/2024): The owner reached out to me and apologized for the treatment I received this afternoon (post below). The owner's response seemed genuine and she appeared to want to make things right as she offered ways to do that. I have changed my rating because the owner was quick with her response and seemed truly sorry about the situation. It is a beautiful store and last Saturday's sales woman was wonderful. I think making it crystal clear to customers that anything purchased on sale (1% to 99% off) is final, with no returns nor exchanges, would be helpful to all.
I don't post reviews ever. But after the experience with Piffy's I felt buyers should beware. I bought a waistcoat (15% off) at Piffy Boutique in Richmond on Saturday, August 31, 2024 with the understanding from the woman working that Saturday that if it didn't work and I needed to bring it back I could for an exchange within 10 days. No problem. It didn't work so I called them on Saturday, September 7, 2024 to see if I could have that extended by one or two days as I am 3 hours away. I was more than happy to exchange the item and didn't need a refund. The sales woman told me No because the item was final sale and it is posted on my receipt. No where on my receipt did it say Final Sale and she even confirmed that. But she would not honor the exchange even though the sales woman last week told me that it was fine to exchange and never told me it was a Final Sale item. Will not...

I'll shop again as soon as I get a chance to make it to that side of town.

I know they’re a small boutique but to not even allow an exchange (wrong size) for an item still with tags is a bit ridiculous. I wasn’t asking for a return (although I think, in this day and age, not having any return options at all is not sustainable for a business), just an exchange or store credit for an item bought very recently and was still in season and sellable. The employee was nice but gave me false hope saying they’re lenient with exchanges. I guess her boss said no. Not her fault, but the unreasonable store policies mean I’m not risking shopping...
Read moreI visited a few times, each time was a horrible experience. Barely any employees and the owner never seems to be there? I understand it’s a boutique but over half the things I saw there were also on the Shein website for a fraction of Piffy’s price. Why would I want to pay a fortune for same cheap quality shein has to offer? I was not at all impressed with the quality enough to pay that much. I try hard to support small businesses and give multiple chances but whoever seems to be running this business either doesn’t care, or is way in...
