edit Hi David! I canât reply to your comment so Iâll do it here. I would LOVE to see/hear the camera footage. And please post it as well because the eating the KitKat like a psychopath joke was hilarious and needs more recognition. Thatâs why you thought it was a popsicle stick because she was eating the white chocolate off of it and then eating the wafer. Back to the point at hand though, I absolutely saw the sign on the door⌠never said I didnât⌠I didnât know my daughter still had a piece of candy in her hand. Had you simply said âsorry we donât allow food or drinks in the store can you please go outside while she finishes thatâ I would have done just that. But nope, you RAN literally to us asking for the popsicle stick before I even had a chance to breathe in the store. Also, the camera footage would 100% show you telling us âwell sheâs messy and needs to go outsideâ so by all means, please make that public đ¤ˇđťââď¸ Iâm not the first person to make a review that you were rude so I donât think this is a me issue. My older daughter also heard the interaction and she was pretty nervous for YOUR sake because this momma doesnât play about her kids. She wanted to look around and we stayed for approximately 8 mins and then decided to take our business to Tj maxx for better service and quality đ
I have a 14 year old daughter who loves shopping at Platoâs closet but unfortunately we will no longer be going to THIS one. I took my 14 year old yesterday and my 6 year old daughter. When we walked in David was very aggressive and ran up to us saying âI can take her popsicle stickâ to which I was confused because she didnât have a popsicle. It was a 1 inch piece of a white chocolate KitKat. I said âoh, sheâs just eating this piece of KitKat like a psychopathâ and laughed. He then proceeded to say âwe donât allow food and drinks in the storeâ ok, cool, no problem that wouldnât have been an issue. But THEN he proceeds to tell us that âsheâs really messy and needs to go outsideâ and embarrassed my 6 year old who started crying. I have no issue follows the food/drinks in the store but I didnât even know she was still eating this piece of KitKat and the way he spoke and came at us aggressively was absolutely uncalled for.    Read moreBig shout out to ALL employees who work hard at keeping a well organized and friendly environment at Plato's Closet. Double shout out to the humble owners Dave and Laura who have done nothing but make me feel welcomed. I have done a lot of business here and without a doubt will continue to do so. Of course, as everyone does they have a few simple rules they ask and expect their customers to follow. No food or drinks is asked as it is posted as you walk in... simple enough. No more than 6 items in changing room at once.... simple enough as chances are other people are shopping too. All clothes must be contained, as in bags or totes and no more than 4 bags or totes in total when selling to them. Understandable, as a lot of clothes come thru and they just want to make sure you get whats yours and they keep what's theirs..... I highly recommend dropping by not only to buy or sell as they offer extremely fair prices both ways....!!!! But to simply meet a wonderful well rounded group of...
Read moreThe worker guy kept peeking in the fitting room every time that my sister would crack the door to show me an outfit, it was incredibly unsettling. They also were awkwardly watching us nonstop, we had a baby and it took us a while to try things on due to taking turns watching the baby. The workers even made a comment about how they âthought we had way more stuffâ (mind you we literally put the stuff back OURSELVES that we didnât buy.) The comments and just rude stares, on top of a MAN looking into her fitting room was ridiculous. Also checking my nieces stroller the second we were done trying things on was out of pocket too, regardless of if you thought we were stealing. We also werenât allowed to bring my 7 month old niece into the fitting room either. The WORKER offered to watch her instead of giving us the bigger stall which makes it even worse...
