I just learned of this location today (Sunday, July 24, 2016) after visiting the pawn shop next door. I love these indoor flea markets. The cashier said they have been there since January, so that explains why it's slightly emptier than most places like these that I have seen. It wouldn't hurt for more vendors to rent booth space. However, my six-year-old son and I really enjoyed browsing.
In my opinion, many items were over-priced. For example, there were a few tables that contained nothing but shampoo, conditioner, deodorant and other hygiene products. I was very excited to stock up until I noticed the prices were not much different from those in Walmart. I believe vendors could really turn a decent profit on these types of items if they slightly lowered prices. Less profit per item, but more profit overall, because more customers would purchase.
My other personal interest was random pieces of furniture. They had kitchen tables & chairs, bookshelves, desks, hutches, and more. Some were awesome deals while others asked for an arm and a leg. One could notice that the sellers were not the same person.
All in all, it was a fun trip with my little man, whom rode a big wheel down the isles while we shopped. Oops. ;-) The cashier was an older gentleman (I am 30 years old), whom was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable of the store. I wondered if he, in fact was the owner. We came out of the store with a large raw hyde bone for our 5-year-old pitt bull dog, two Hot Wheels cars for my boy, and two wall posters (Nirvana band members & "Man Cave Rules") for my husband to hang in his man space- our garage. We will definitely be visiting again soon to grab a specific piece of furniture that I NEED in my life. :-) Good job Bargain Center; You're off to a great start!

Read moreI've always been a fan of markets like this. You'd all the charm of a flea market, without having to deal with the pesky reality of vendors watching your every move.
Additionally the variety of products here makes it a worthwhile stop whenever I'm in the Richmond area. The large vendor that has their own room to the left side of the center is especially great. I always find something when I go there.
The problem with this Bargain Center, is one that often plagues equivalent businesses. There are so many vendors that quality control simply can't be a thing. In several of the vendors, the place is a wreck. It's nothing but curtains thrown all over the floor both open and not open, it's piles of what essentially looks like garbage with price tags on it, and it's overpriced items that frankly are disgusting. I understand that sometimes this can lead to some good deals, but most of the time it just looks really trashy.
There are other places where it looks like people are somewhat living out of their booths, and other places where there's hardly anything in there. I also noticed that not even all the lights in the facility were turned on.
I've not shop for furniture here, as I'm not from the area. I always find good deals when I'm in here, and it's an interesting mix. I just wish it was a bit nicer. It feels like a bit of a hot...
Read moreMany years ago and probably several owners ago it was a different flea market it. Used to have a lot of variety but not so much now. A discounted foods vendor and a furniture side of the store are Probably your largest offerings in this flea market. Then you have a lot of health a beauty items and a record/music store. Really nothing stands out for me. I liked it a lot better years ago when there was a dvd vendor and a computer vendor etc. A lot more was offered! I haven't been in for several months but sadly nothing changed. One gem was a wwf collectables vendor and some 80s action figures thats really the only classic flea market vendor i seen. Id like to see...
