Brace yourselves, this is a long one. Please read in full if you’re considering this venue which I would HIGHLY advise against. I’m writing this review just a couple hours removed from my niece’s birthday we hosted at this venue so everything is fresh in my mind. I was not the main correspondent when speaking with the venue workers but witnessed their nonsense in real time.

Pam, Vertides or whatever your name is, and another unnamed blonde woman all played their part in making this one of the most infuriating experiences we’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

This nonsense all started with Pam who was the main contact with my sister. My sister SPECIFICALLY picked this place because they had marketed to her that the venue held 250 people. Fast forward, Pam then tells my sister she wasn’t aware she had 250 and thought it was only 200 guests. Strike 1. Pam then claims the main ballroom couldn’t hold that many people and agreed that we’d have excess guests upstairs. Strike 2. My sister eventually agreed to this and planned seating accordingly. She even agreed that NO CHILDREN would go upstairs for safety reasons. THE NIGHT BEFORE THE EVENT, we went to the venue to drop some things off and that’s when we found out that we suddenly didn’t have access to the upstairs due to safety reasons?! After seating was already planned?! Strike 3. And the best Pam could offer was to reimburse for signage. Dishonest and incompetent.

Vertides was the worst of them all. There aren’t enough google characters to describe how rude, incompetent, and disrespectful this woman was to my family. “No eating” in a room where food was being served, “no parking here” in a lot they provided, “no eating in the bridal suite” even though you guys messed up our seats leaving some of us with no tables, “can’t do this, can’t do that, no to this, no to that.” We even accidentally closed the bridal suite door at some point which locked. Her attitude was disgusting when we asked her for assistance. Don’t act innocent because you know exactly how rude you were dealing with us.

Lastly this unnamed blonde woman made a fuss that we parked an SUV in a specific spot while we were just UNLOADING STUFF and were going to move shortly.

You people have abhorrent customer service, disgusting attitudes and if it weren’t for everyone on our end pulling together to work through things, you would have essentially ruined everything. We hosted our baby shower at this venue. While the space itself was lovely, I’d give the experience a 5-star rating (instead of 2) if it weren’t for the concierge. From the start, our interactions with Virtudes were challenging.

First, during our initial walk-through, everything felt rushed, and we didn’t receive the attention to detail we expected. She also made several inappropriate comments about my wife’s appearance, even suggesting she didn’t “look pregnant” by some unclear standard. This was uncomfortable and uncalled for.

On the day of the event, the weather was chilly, but she refused to turn on the heat, despite my 75 year old father shivering in his suit. When we asked again, she insisted people would warm up once they started dancing, even though we’d already clarified there wouldn’t be any dancing at our event.

We received multiple complaints from guests about her attitude. She was rude to children, who were simply playing without causing trouble, and had issues with numerous minor details, which added unnecessary stress to our day.

Overall, Virtudes’ behavior did not reflect the hospitality we expected from this venue. It was disappointing that her conduct didn’t align with the club’s principles.

Held my daughter’s sweet 16 at this venue for 200 people, 20 tables fit allowing ample space for dancing! Personnel was available and accommodating! Answered my many questions and made helpful suggestions! I booked the event prior to some minor indoor and outdoor renovations and was extremely happy with the changes made! I used some of the referred vendors for dinnerware and catering to help make the event a success. I did use a decorator to help transform the venue into my daughter’s enchanted sweet 16. Be sure to make arrangements with the church across the street for parking- it makes it so convenient for your guests!...
