Korean food is taking over Bergen county! Hot pots and bibimaps for everyone! If you are unfamiliar, tofu house would be a great Segway into Korean fare. They offer much more than tofu, don't let the name fool you. Bulgogi (delicious marinated beef).can be added into stir fry, hot pot (soup) or bibimap (rice dish with vegetables and sauce). There are also chicken and seafood options. I love how each meal begins with complimentary small plates of fish cake, bean sprouts, and kimchi. The kimchi is good, by the way. I had the veggie hotpot with tofu, Korean veggie pancake, and a taste of the bulgogi. Very good service on a Friday night. Will be going back here for...

My favorite spot in Ridgewood! Everything is delicious. The Sundubu-jjigae is definitely the move. Number 4 is my favorite so far (I always ask for spicy and it’s never too spicy so if you like really spicy definitely ask for very spicy).

The lunch boxes are also so great if you want to try more of the main menu but are visiting by yourself or want to order to-go during the week.

Banchan is A+. Everything they’ve ever given me was delicious.

They also use alkaline/filtered water in all their food which I think really adds to the taste of the food (especially because water in NJ can be a little shady). Just a small thing they do that I think makes a...

This place was such a disappointment. I had high hopes since it was the only korean restaurant near by. I ordered bulgogi and kimchi soft tofu and was very disappointed because they are the most basic dishes you can get and it did not tast eanything like your authentic korean dish. The bulgogi had a weird coconut flavor to it and was NOT authentic at all. Usually bulgogi is sweet and salty but this place uses coconut sugar to sweeten it which is not the original way to make bulgogi. The kimchi soft tofu was ok but it just tasted more like they added ramyun packets in them. Highly disappointed and will not be coming...

I've driven by this place for years, my son explained that tofu house has obvious meanings to Koreans and those in the know, it just didn't really occur to me that it might be something I would like so much... What a wonderful experience, fabulous bibimbap, first time I've had it, the waitress explained that it's essentially Korean fried rice, it was so beautiful looking, and so flavorfully delicious, fragrant, fresh... can't wait to go back and try the soups...hint for those who don't know, the left side of the menu is all soups even though the word soup doesn't appear in the menu, not in English anyway :-)

I've been to this 유기농 순두부 레스토랑 about 4 or 5 times now, including today; and they never fail to please me every single time! It's great 한식 (Korean cuisine) for a VERY good price when compared to 소공동 in Palisades Park, Fort Lee or Edgewater! All their food is fresh and tasty, their servers are very kind and patient, it's the best place to go for Korean food! And, typical for homely Korean restaurants, they give complimentary 반찬 appetizers! I can't say enough good things about the Organic Tofu House! 5 stars!

After reading the reviews we had to try this place. We lived in South Korea & still eat Korean food often. The scallion pancake was huge like a pizza, greasy and soggy, not crisp & crunchy rounds. It kind of tasted like it had cheese on it. Strange. Then our entrees arrived & were sweet. I know Bulgogi & Kalbi ribs has some sugar added to it balance with soy sauce & other items but this was sweet meat bulgogi. Everything was ok and we ate it. I don’t plan on going back.
