This grocery store is so wildly overpriced that I shudder every time I have to pick a few things up from here. Truly every single essential food item is priced at least $2-$3 higher per item than comparable grocery stores in other communities (if items are even marked! Be careful and watch the register when they ring you up to make sure you’re paying what is marked.) Considering this is the only grocery store in Ridgway (and it’s at least a 30-minute drive to the next grocery store), it would be nice if the owners didn’t price gouge essential items like bread, milk, eggs, grains, canned goods, and basic produce. This business utilizes its remoteness as an opportunity for a blatant cash grab in what is mostly a working-class community. Awful. I found the grocer selection excellent, if a little snobbish and elitist. The staff were a fun bunch to talk with. Mountain people are fun! I know because I am one. My people yo!

Go to this grocer. You'll be...
Read moreVery complete store for relatively compact space. Think City Market/Safeway on a diet. They really are the only decent market around for many miles. We did find quite of number of items which you not find in a C-store. Good produce and fruit selection. Meat section was smaller but adequate. We bought steaks and sides for an outdoor RV dinner. I can only give four stars because they were somewhat pricy. However, this is a smaller town away from the interstates and they have little competition here in Ridgeway. I will NOT be buying dinner at the Conoco/Family Doller, for example. We visited...
