Colorado Boy Pub & Brewery — Restaurant in Ridgway

I’ve eaten here once. I loved the pizza. However, I don’t know what the heck is going on with the service. The first time, my friend and I ordered our pizza, a beer for our other friend, and 2 servings of wine. The server told us we had to drink it off the premises and made us show her where we were parked. (Across the street). On our way out, the sign on the patio clearly says, “NO alcoholic beverages past this point” 🧐 …huh?

We came back, got our pizza , and ate and drank across the street.

Next time, which was this past Thursday evening, (09/30/2021): me and my friends call and call on our phones, receiving nothing but busy signals. My friend and I go ahead and drive to the place to order. We’re met by a young woman who tells us she can take our order in TEN minutes, as they’re letting the kitchen catch up. We’re then told that once we put our order in, it will be another 45 minute wait for our pizza. 🧐… huh? She then went out to all the outdoor tables and told all the other people waiting there, the very same thing.

Wow, I can’t think of a better way to turn business away… FOREVER. 😒

We went to the taco place down the street and they got our order out in less than 20 minutes. …and it was crowded in there! …and the food was absolutely delicious.

Ridgeway Colorado Boy… you SUCK and deserve...

We heard some great things about this place. My family of 4 and I were very disappointed. The place looks great but the sign outside is so small we looked for a couple of days to find it (turns out we had the wtong name). We went in, they have inside and outside seating but all outside seats were taken. It took a good 6-8 mins for anyone to greet us and take drink orders (sodas and water). As i found throughout my week in Colorado dont be fulled by what may look like a "full bar" they have a short list of drinks and they do not make Bloody Mary's. When i asked for one she said let me check, she came back and said "some days we make bloody marys and sometimes we dont...today we arent making them." All martaritas are on the rocks (no frozen). The food didnt take particularly long time to come out but the appitizer nachos left a lot to be desired. The took a mound of chips sprinkled shredded chese on it and put it in the microwave. My beef enchilada was ok but only ate half, the rice was undercooked and had no flavor, the "tacos" were a corn tortilla folded in half with the taco stuff inside, not a crunchy or even a soft taco just an odd attempt at something "mexican". I would not go back, ourau Colorado has too many other amazing places to eat to waste any more time...

Absolutely amazing place! Highly recommended for families and people who love beer and pizza.

We went their with our two daughters and infant son and were immediately greeted warming and sat, despite a VERY busy evening. The waitstaff was very quick and cordial as well, getting us everything we needed right away. We ordered a beer, pizzas and a dessert pizza for our girls (who had previously eaten). The Colorado Boy Blonde beer was a complete A+ smash hit. I loved it! For entrees we ordered a Med pizza and Garlic pizza. Both were great! I highly recommend the garlic pizza. The girls got a Nutella dessert pizza and loved it. The Nutella pizza came dusted with powdered sugar, so those wanting it a touch less sweet might ask to not have it dusted. Regardless, the girls dug in and loved it!

A side note about the local atmosphere:

We were sat next to a party from the area who were absolutely some of the kindest people we've met. They entertained the girls and put up with having to sit next to a table of goofballs for supper!
