Supermercado Econo — Local services in Rincón

A few things that make this grocery store better for me... The isles are wider than other stores in the area... and not because of less food selection... the store is bigger than others and they use that extra space to provide a more comfortable shopping environment for the customers. There are items here I cannot find at the 3 grocery stores I drive past to go to this store... like Boar's Head deli meats & cheeses, and a large variety of gluten-free pastas. The parking area is well designed and the spaces are a sufficient width (and as someone with back issues, I really value not having to struggle to get in and out of my car due to lack of space). It looks and smells clean... nothing is worse than trying to shop for groceries while dealing with the odor of a sewage backup or spoiled meat. While this has happened at other stores, I have never experienced it here... the store has always looked and smelled clean and fresh.

The one thing they could improve on is letting their employees know that some of us that move here from the states may have trouble learning Spanish... but we are still trying. If the employees could have patience and perhaps provide encouragement instead of dirty looks, it would be greatly...

Now this market was more like what I'm used to in the inland territories. I went to Walmart on the island and it was missing the simple things, like organization. I don't want to seem like a prude but to me, island time should not include a lack of tidiness. I guess this point isn't their fault but I'm used to grain-fed meat and not grass-fed meat. It tasted somewhat different from what I was used to but overall it got the job done. The products that we got here were spot on to what we needed. We had to go back because of the variety that was offered here. It was mind-blowing compared to all the other places we'd been shopping before on the island. If we would have known about this Supermarket before we would have gone here the whole time while we were visiting. Thanks for serving us. We bought Breyers vanilla ice cream and 3 bags of coffee to bring back home with us since I love...

Great coffee and pastries. I got a beautiful and delicious bday cake that was inexpensive. Amazing and large selection of local coffee in the display at the front of the store. I bought several kinds as gifts for myself and others. The roast chicken was so well seasoned that it ruined the roast chicken that I usually purchase back home. Clean, well organized store with friendly and helpful staff. I found things a little cheaper at the smaller mom and pop grocery stores but this chain has a much larger selection and is...
