This target sucks. Always out of stock of milk, meat, and other common grocery items. Takes weeks to restock. Out of convenience, this target is my first choice whenever I need something and, lately, have needed to consider other superior options such as the Walmart (cheaper) and the new Riverdale Farmers Market (their produce is TOP notch). I have honestly held off on giving my review but today 6/14/25, was just it for me. I have come into this location five times in the last two weeks for multiple different grocery items (including milk, steak, and pork) to find each one out of stock every time.
As someone with an extensive background in retail, specifically planning & allocation, it absolutely boggles my mind as to why this specific Target’s grocery department is CONSISTENTLY LACKING AND OUT OF STOCK. Where is your manager? Your DM? Surely I can’t be the only one complaining about this. Last week I went in and they were conducting an entire flip of their grocery department in the middle of peak business hours which resulted in absolutely NO product to be found on the shelves. Who made this call??? Completely mismanaged.
Don’t get me started on their short staffing lol.

Edit: as of 08/26 this hellscape continues to get worse. Now, some genius decided to relocate the drive up area and add additional stop signs, which has GREATLY impacted the flow of traffic ENTERING the parking lot. 3 stops signs in a row has now created an insane stop & go traffic situation… if that was my first experience with this specific location, I’d turn around and leave go to Walmart with its much larger and easier to maneuver parking lot. Read morewhat happened tonight was irresponsible on this stores location as a whole. my mother in law was told that there were two phone cases left and so i took a 30 minute drive to go up there. i wasn't so much that the electronics associate was on their break but the attitude i was given when greeted by a manager, i had put my mother in law on the phone and had let her talk to her since she had talked to the location 30 minutes proir. i had asked if maybe the manager cuold have briefly asked the electronics associate on break she declined which is understandable and told us she wouldn't bother him, I had a manager paged, because of the associate on their break. she was helpful at first but continuing interaction with her became bitter. i was not bitter at all to her but her attitude kept getting more and more of a problem as she began to help us. i dont remember when an manger could lash out and give the customers a hard time to the point where i stood up for myself and felt threatened. i dont appreciate being given an attitude for asking to being checked out nor being specific about what i was looking for. this isnt a place where speak as being treated because i was not like that. Of all the years of experience working as a retail clerk years ago, i was always taught to be respectful of customers as well as not bring life to work. tonight may have been a bad night for the female manager that helped us. I was there shopping for the pet fresh dog food that I normally get from acme but since they were sold out I decided to give target a shot and noticed that the same bag I normally buy was significantly cheaper. So I took 2 bags and when I was checking out i came to notice that the price was different from the shelf label price so an employee packed out the product in the wrong spots. When I asked the lady who was standing over self check out about it she said she couldn’t do anything about it and was giving me a hard time over it and kept saying I was lying. When I asked if she could honor the price difference since it was a store mistake she proceeded to tell me the decision would only be decided by the store manager. When I asked to speak with the store manager, no one seemed to know where he/she was and kept saying “they’re not available right now”. So after I already had enough I just decided to buy one bag at full price and as I was walking out the door the lady stopped me saying “oh you’re leaving? Do you not want the other bag, We can honor the price difference”…. After giving me a hard time and saying I was lying and after 20 minutes suddenly things changed? At this point I was fed up and got annoyed and just wanted to leave so I said forget it but your manager will get a complaint about this and she started yelling at me saying I was wrong and I didn’t know what I was talking about and she was being nice.
