I took my 9 month old daughter to get her ears pierced two weeks ago. And it was such a horrible experience. So the lady did explain the diameter and what is appropriate for my baby. I though everything was good until she pierced her ears. I was holding my daughter so I didn't notice until we had walked away and went into another store and looked in the mirror. We were okay with the dots which I thought was the most important part and I thought this would insure her piercing were symmetrical. But that wasn't the problem. When she pierced her left ear it went right in the dot but came out sideways literally on the side of her earlobe. If you looked straight at her face you could see the back piece of her piercing! Now I thought she was a professional and had experience I thought she knew what she was doing. I held my daughter but I think if she felt uncomfortable piercing her ears she has no business doing this job! Now my daughter doesn't let her ears gettouvhed and I don't know how I'll pierce this ear again. I took it off the same day which was so horrible she was already in pain and then that made it worse. This experience has been so horrible. I never thought I'd have to put my daughter through this. I came back right away like 10 min after I was facing a mirror with my daughter. as I approached the lady she already knew that she had messed up because I didn't even have to point it out. She told me I can come back in 3 days to a week to get it pierced for free again because that what they do. But I think I shouldn't even be put on a time limit to get it fixed since it wasn't my fault. She acted like it was no big deal like she didn't just mess up! I rather let it heal for another week since the hole is still noticeable from the front.
The lady also kept telling my 9 month old baby that im the one hurting her not her because I was getting her ears pierced. I should've just left from the beginning since she was being very unprofessional and did end up causing more pain to my daughter because she wasn't careful.I think she should keep her opinions to herself . There was no need to keep saying that.
I emailed the companys customer service about this Incident 3 das after they replied after 3 days and they said they can cover the cost to repierce again but I told them I want another location and with someone who has experience. It's been 4 days and no reply I even called in today they tried transferring me over to the person who was working on this and was sent to VM. To every parent just avoid this place! So freaking unprofessional and they don't...
Read moreZERO STARS FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I was in North Riverside mall dropping off my wedding ring to jewelry which is adjacent to the Piercing Pagoda kiosk. I was shopping for a cute pair of earrings for my 28 yr stepdaughter (which they have on occasion) As I approached the jewelry counter I was there for roughly 10 mins before the salesperson acknowledged I was there. I asked about several earrings and examined them. As i was doing so she continued to ask me if i wanted to check out the gold. Which I thought was strange since I specifically said "I was shopping for silver earrings". I declined the gold offer 3 times as it was not in my budget. I finally decided on 3 pairs of earrings, which i was told were "Buy 1 get up to 2 more 50% off. As she rang up my items the total did not reflect the sale, nor was that price reflected on her tiny computer screen. When i asked her break down the specific cost of each pair. The salesgirl said "cant you see it right there, do the math." I proceeded to ask her again what the breakdown was as she was the salesperson selling me an item. Her response was" You must not listen, do you?!" I was like "excuse me, i heard you. But you still have not answered my question and keep directing me to the tiny screen i can barely see as i have a vision problem" I was then told again "i must not know how to listen do you?!" At that point i said "I'm good i dont need your merchandise. Forget it!thanks" and walked away. So glad I didn't spend over 100 dollars there to be talked to like a child. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I will never patronize Piercing Pagoda again, and have told my friends and family to...
Read moreService: 4 stars- the woman who helped me at the counter was very kind and accommodating despite the situation. **Company pricing & policy: 2 stars- I had bought this belly piercing jewelry just a month ago and within that time it had broken apart completely and started to rust. (Glue connecting the bottom gem came unstuck and the loop holding the dangling gems widened/broke causing the dangle to fall off). Very disappointing. When I came back to exchange the item with my warranty, I was told the piece I bought had risen in price from $20 to $35 and I would have to pay the difference which I feel is absurd considering I just purchased a month ago for $15 less. I had to go with a ring that was smaller and it was $25 so I still had to pay the extra difference, plus another warranty fee in case this new one breaks. Jewelry is over priced for the seemingly...
