DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
We had put in an order for both shutters (for six windows) and blinds (for four windows) in March 2021. We were quoted 8-12 weeks for the shutters and 4-6 weeks for the blinds. Two sets of blinds were measured wrong, so they had to re-order, which we understand could happen. When the new blinds came in, the valence piece was missing on one set and blinds were broken on another. The company re-ordered the blinds because of the issue (third time) and came in in December 2021, with the valence still missing. We have been calling for weeks and have not been able to get ahold of anyone at the company. Also, their voicemail is full/turned off. So what turned in a 4-6 week timeline has been +44 weeks since we placed an order.
When it comes to the shutters, we were never given updates throughout all of 2021 on shutters from staff/management. My wife and I had to call every month or so to get an update on how things were progressing (this was after the 8-12 week timeline). We understand that there is a global supply chain issue, but there should at least be some sort of understanding of providing a customer with updates, even if its “no update” every so often. In early Q4 2021, we were informed (after calling ourselves for an update, ) that our shutters, which are manufactured in China, had been inside a container that had fallen overboard the vessel it was on. I don’t know honestly how long it would have taken them to call us to tell us what had happened (if it actually happened?). We were given the option to re-order through them through a different manufacturer or get a refund. We took the refund, but they were still looking to keep our deposit even though they were in the process of closing/employees leaving (whatever has happened).
We still continue to call to see if we can get out missing valence piece. I have seriously never dealt with such ineptitude from a business before in my life, and I am quite shocked their star rating is so high on here.

I knew I wanted plantation shutters, so I started to research nearby vendors and, more importantly, look for top recommendations. Gotcha Covered was mentioned in several places, and those clients were spot on - Sergio (the current owner) and his wife were awesome! Listened to what we were looking for, explained differences in materials and pricing and offered suggestions we never thought of. We had 15 windows we needed treatments for - not an insignificant investment, and Sergio gave us an exceptional experience. Communication was awesome. The experience itself was terrific - while waiting for the custom made shutters, Sergio came over and put up temporary blinds for us. On installation day, Sergio himself did the install. He was meticulous; several windows (NOT the shutters) were not square, but Sergio was able to make magic and the shutters themselves were spot on and looked fabulous! He takes pride in his business and his work; we knew we were important to him and not just a number at a box store. We are so glad he was recommended! Do not hesitate to order...

In MARCH of 2021 We ordered a set of blinds for the front 2 windows and a set of 4 for our back patio. We figured there would be delays due to global shipping issues and understood patience was needed. HOWEVER, we're fast approaching a year and we are STILL waiting for resolution of our issues:
We received 3 (not 4) blinds. They said it would be another 6-8 weeks for the new blinds... That was in November. They were not properly measured/cut so they had to come back out and "custom cut them to fit... Had to drill MORE holes are the old ones didn't align. The were different styles and shades of white. We have HOUNDED them for updates but they will not answer calls and have been closed since Christmas break. 4.b. All the employees have quit!
We are now talking to a lawyer as the owners have been woefully unresponsive!
If you have ordered services from them and are getting the run-around like us, it would behoove you to contact your credit card issuer before the 60 day limit or you'll probably need to seek an attorney for resolution as well!
